My brain is like about to explode thinking about that... i think its a good idea but the power requirements are enormous for each different door to control a wormhole you have to have a gravity manipulator otherwise the hole would just close on itself. that by itself requires something like a nuclear generator or cold fusion generator. then to be able to control where it goes is a whole different ball of wax. because a wormhole creates a rip through time and space basically folding extended space into compacted space you cant control it because it happens randomly we cant see or hear anything having to do with it cause its happening in the fourth dimension. and being able to travel through that without dying is a huge problem. because your moving into a space called hyperspace or 4 dimensional space which is not able for regular people to walk through --->readthis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-dimensional_space

I was thinking it would make sneaking past security much, much harder if done right. They could have it computerized to read each individuals DNA and only allow them access to those areas.

That'd be pretty hard to do since it reads your cellular DNA.
