A Liodion is a beast that is nearly five stories tall. Its body is that of a lion, but it has a tusk coming out of each side of its snout. It is a creature of great intellect and thrives when it is with others of its kind, in "prides". The Liodion is a creature that I added to the series I am writing, The Starcrafters' Saga. |

It sounds unique. What does it eat? What kind of environment does it live in? |

Why does it thrive in prides? What are their interactions with each other like? |

How fuzzy are they? And are they and can they be tamed (Feeding them would cost a lot. |

How many Liodions are there in this world? Is it considered a great feat to kill them? Are they generally evil creatures? What are their weak points? |

They sound scary! I certainly wouldn't like to come across one. Do they basically act like normal lions? How big are the cubs? |

Oh, wow! That's a lot of questions. Liodion's are omnivores, they live in warm plains, can live to be 100 years, have 3 cubs per litter, are family animals, as fuzzy as a lion, are born tame because of their intellect (they can talk). There are only a couple prides, they are not usually hunted except by those who do not respect the lives of others, they are not generally evil, the cold is a weakness (they hibernate through the winter). Because they are intelligent, they do not act like normal animals, the male Liodions are scholars and riddlers, the females are poets and singers, the cubs are a little bigger than a full grown human. I hope that answered all of your questions! |

Is there any good or bad side in your book? If so, are the Liodion on any side or are they on neither? |

Liodion's are somewhat neutral, but they are willing to help any who truthfully serve God (named Trand in my book). No doubt they will join in the final battle in my book. I have yet to get that far. |
