Hm, intriguing!!! Another thing to ask... if I, made up of our world's elements and laws, travelled into another world with different elements and stuff, might my elements change into that world's equivalent? Or not really changed, but they're just grouped differently, so that I am instead of being weakened, am enabled to do stuff that is seemingly supernatural? Like you're just close enough to be able to survive, but different enough to do awesome stuff. (: Like the brainwaves we emit here act differently in that world, so we can communicate telepathically. Or stuff like that.
Intriguing.

I think that could definitely work with the theory, if not strictly, as a slight variation.

I think it would be hard to make a world with different elements that could still work together... It could be done, but it would probably take a lot more work than I'd want to spend on trying to figure out how things would be different if light bended differently and such... Really, I think a different table of elements would take a long time to work through
Flat worlds seem easier and don't seem to require as much thinking.
*nods* I don't think I'd want to work through that either.

I like what you have here.

But I think that you could say that if God made both of those worlds he could have made them with the same elements while having different "times" similar to how he made all the different organisms on earth with the same system of DNA. Or you could say that since he provided a way for people from here to go to there he provided a way to "convert" them to that world's equivalent of themselves.
I also thought Caleb had some interesting thoughts.

Anyway though, I like your idea, it sounds cool and original.

*nods* I've thought of that as the one way the most strict form of this theory would work, but the only way I've thought of doing that is divine intervention. (And even with this idea, there's no guarantee that your character would look the same after having his entire body restructured.)
Thanks.
