What I thought of for my world, was that men had to have their hair above the neck and women had to have their hair below the shoulders for aesthetic purposes. :)

Why do they do this? For practical purposes, religious, or aesthetics?

It is a rule in the tribes for aesthetic purposes. Like for example, in our world, in some schools, it is a rule for boys and girls to keep their hair above a certain length. It's kinda like that. :)

In the religions of your world, do they have any laws about men's and women's hair length? Or is this all cultural rules?

What kind of hairstyles do people have? Do they adorn their hair with ribbons or jewels? Dye or curl it? Do children have different styles than adults?

Its all cultural. I always picture my females with flowers, since they are close to nature. The hair doesn't matter for age.

Oh! If you're looking for great inspiration regarding headbands made of flowers, check out Etsy. Flowered headbands and hairpieces are apparently very trendy... especially for weddings. So there's a lot of lovely examples on Etsy. :D
