Monta Tervedis!

I have been promising for a very long time that I would get a map of Vitarentel in English lettering so you all can read it. Well here it is! It isn't quite finished, I want to add a little more detail to the trim around the title, but all of the nations are where they should be, as well as all of the major landmarks. It is kind of hard to see, but the forests in the Dwarvish and Elvish realms are little circular trees, and the forests in and around Telnor are triangular trees, representing the difference between the trees that grow there. In the top right corner the text is completely unreadable, but it says the frozen ocean. Just to warn you, the Elvish map that I posted previously has almost completely different titles on most of the areas, that is due to this map being made by humans and that map being made by the elves (or at least that's what I say). Feel free to pepper me with questions, I am hoping to finish the map after midterms are completed and find someone with a scanner large enough to scan it directly into my computer, as the page is roughly 19x25 inches.

Enjoy,

Esílis

:) You're welcome. I'm interested, how long did it take you to make that map?

Um... It took me about a week or three. I'm sure if I had done it without interruptions from school, then it could have probably taken me about a day and a half or a little more, but not sure.

Very very nice! :) The mountains are lovely. If I had one piece of advice to you it would be this: make your forests fade out a little more around the edges. The first thing that came to mind when I saw them on the map was little nests of wheel bug eggs, which might seem a funny comparison, but that's what my crazy brain did. :D

Again, lovely. I wish I had a map of Carseld that size.

However, M'lady, What do you mean by fading out the forest? letting the trees become further apart towards the edges? Loved the bug eggs, that made me smile... :salute: and I've been needing that lately (midterms...) :P

Yeah, fade them out, or make them a little looser around the edges. It just ends so abruptly.

Glad I could make you smile. ;)

Wow, this is a very well made map!
Only thing I can think to change would be to maybe have the borders of the nations be more attune to the natural surroundings.
Most country's have borders that go along a river, mountain range, or something of that nature.

(I really like your dwarf nation.)
