The smiling dead is a creature I came up with for my book.
The smiling dead are kinda like zombies but a lot more intelligent. If you use magic in my book and use a very powerful spell, you can raise an army of dead humans that smile and kill whoever you want them to kill. D: You can only kill them by lopping off their head!!
Tell me what you think, and how to improve them. :D

Thanks.

 Wow, that's kinda creepy, makes good plot opportunities!

Is your book a thriller? Horror? If you want to make it a bit more dark you could have beheading not the way to kill them, but they will keep coming no mater what. So the only way to get rid of them (since you can't kill them), is to make it so they can't do anything.

"It is called 'passive righteousness' because we do not have to labor for it..It is not righteousness that we work for, but righteousness we receive by faith. This passive righteousness is a mystery that someone who does not know Jesus cannot understand. In fact, Christians do not completely understand it and rarely take advantage of it in their daily lives..When there is any fear or our conscience is bothered, it is a sign that our 'passive' righteousness is out of sight and Christ is hidden.
The person who wander away from 'passive' righteousness has no other choice but to live by 'works' righteousness. If he does not depend on the work of Christ, he must depend on his own work.So we must teach and continually repeat the truth of this 'passive' or 'Christian' righteousness so that Christians continue to hold to it and never confuse it with 'works' righteousness - Martin Luther

I love that they smile!

Do they look cute? Cute things that are evil are insanely creepy.

Don't even ask... :pale:

You need a name for them? I'm an expert at names.

Nope, just a fantasy type book.

Thanks, but there has to be a way to kill them. :/

I don't think there cute. Because if stinking rotting flesh and huge eyes  are cute, I'm a monkeys uncle, (But if its was a kid that just dies then it might be cute.) Oh and by the way there smile is the [I want to kill you] type smile.

What color are they? Gray? Do they have skin peeled away to reveal a hollow cavity surrounded by bones? I think that's uber creepy plus awesome! Are they dressed in armor? Rags? Are maggots crawling out of their ears?

Oh! How bout' skinless! You see the muscles! 8D

I think I might change it so that, you have to carve out/stab a special organ to kill them instead, of having to lop of there head. :o
