So in a book I am planning/writing I have a character named Wren. He's sort of human but not. He can change matter and such, but at the same time he is grounded by it and I don't have any clue what to call him as a species. I can provide more details as necessary.

What do you mean, he is grounded by matter?

Matter dictates what he can and cannot do in a sense. Anything with matter he can manipulate it but at the same time only in the feasible means.

So...what counts as feasible then?

That is my problem.

So... can he only manipulate inanimate objects into another inanimate object? Or something more?

Well he can do stuff with any matter, animate or otherwise.

Okay. *moves brain round to try to get it to work* So then, what exactly are you trying to resolve? Are you trying to come up with a name for his species and that is all? If so I would suggest moving this to the naming forum. We have lots of name gurus over there who love this kind of thing. :D

Partly...I think but also trying to develop him. I will update this soon with my more full bio for thoughts.
