Help Please?

In my world, it is filled with a magic gifted by the creator god. I've got it mostly figured out, but I just have to figure out what exactly the magic is. Is it balls of purple lightning? Although purple lightning is cool, I'm not sure if it's exactly right. Anyway, this is what I have so far:

Hm... From what you have, your magic could be almost anything.

The one thing that came to mind that seemed to "fit" with your magic is an 'invisible magic'. Like what Gandalf and Saruman use to fight each other in Orthanc in the movie version of The Fellowship of the Ring.

But it could be anything you want really.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as Sui. A forcelike magic would be awesome...

An invisible force-like magic, huh? I do like the sound of that.

In that scene they take turns thrusting the hand that holds their staff at each other. They then get knocked over or fly across the room.

You don't see any magic at all. Just what 'activates it' (the thrusting of their staffs), and the consequences (the wizards flying across the room).

Thank you, Suiauthon. That was very cool yet creepy and scary. I kinda know why I never saw Lord of The Rings.
I think I shall develop that idea more go with it. At one point my one MC gets first very sad then angry during a battle, and uses her magic wipe out the enemy because the magic is fueled by her anger. Or something like that. Anyway, I think that would be cool how she could just wave her arm or staff and they would go flying through the air.

I'll work on it some more.

How about if the magic varies in their personalities? Or preferences? Like if a person's favorite color is blue, their magic is blue! If the person is usually bitter and angry, it can be red lightning (like your purple one). Hope I helped!
