This idea just popped into my head the other day... what I need is someone to help me iron out the plot and maybe write some with me. :D

Ok, idea:

A mutual identity. There are two ways that this would work:

1.) Two people are like identical twins, but instead of just looking the same, they have the same identity. In other words, if one of them does something, whatever he did is engrained into the memory of the other one as if he had done it.

2.) There is a group of people who can all take on a certain identity. When they are in this identity, they know what it was that they entered into it to do, but all their memory and everything is from past experiences of this identity. When they leave into their own identity, they remember nothing of the mutual one.

Anyways, that's it. :D

Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

The first one is better in my opinion! :dieshappy:

Your opinions? You have more than one?? ;)

Really? I kinda liked the second one better, because in the first one it would be hard to differentiate between the two of them, and the 'third them' would be confusing. With the other one, it would be less confusing and there would be more of a change when somebody entered the identity.

So...anybody feel like collaborating? :D

The intricacy is part of why I like the first one, Little E. :D

Maybe the plot could be about one of the characters who starts figuring out somehow, and somehow hiding it from his twin, and planning a way to break away from the other, which would kill the other guy, but would get the first guy free. Sort of like the protagonist/antagonist are the same person!

They would all already know in both scenarios.
