Does anyone have any characters that I can adopt? My story is a mix between Sci-fi and fantasy. I was not quite sure where to post questions or ask for suggestions for it. Basically the world gets a disease and only one girl survives from it. She is left alone in the world.
I am not quite sure what life forms that she meets. (She has a book with a cabin on one of the pages with someone looking out of the window.) I just want to adopt a creature or a character that I can have meet her.

This is a character from last year's NaNo novel "Forget Me Not," who really has no purpose. Thinking back, I only created him to up my wordcount, so he needs to go.

Name: Hunes

Age: 34

Background: Wife and kids, leaving to help make a living for them.

Personality: Friendly, overly enthusiastic, mildly dense, optimistic.

Appearance: Tall, bearded, generally ruddy, worn clothing (as he is poor). He has blue eyes and rough brown hair.

Do you think he would work for you?
