After reading a few of the amazingly creative descriptions on this forum, my races seem a little boring, but they suit my story fine.

Agrothians:
Agrothians are from the country of Agrotha. They tend not to be tall, but most of them are of an average, reasonable height; say, 5 feet 5 inches. They are usually slender, and their hands and feet are a little smaller and more delicate than their neighbors across the sea.
Their skin is a golden brown, ranging from darker to lighter in shade. It can get darker with sun exposure. Their eyes are always brown, usually so dark they look black, unless light shines on them. This comparison might sound weird, but the hue is like Coca Cola; when it's just in the glass, it looks black, but looks a transparent brown when you hold it up to the light.
Probably their most distinguishing feature is their hair. It is black, thick, and very, very curly. I mean curly enough that one ringlet would barely fit around a pencil. Here is a description of my MC girl, Mahlia:

A lonely figure stands on the mountainside, her cape billowing around her. A girl, in the half-way stage between child and woman. She stands straight, her dark eyes staring emptily across the valley. Her skin, naturally dark, is brown with the sun. Her gracefully slanted eyes fit neatly under arched brows, and her mouth is just the right shape to give her face a slightly exotic appearance. A heavy mass of tight, black curls cascades down her back and blows across her face. Her slender form has lovely gracefulness, but the girl has no idea how beautiful she is.

Morancians:
Morancians are from Morancis. They are divided into two subdivisions; the Easterners, and the Forest People. The Forest People are often tall, and have a reputation for great strength. They range from slender to stout. Most men have large, powerful hands.
Their skin is quite pale, prone to sunburn, but they don't develop freckles. Their skin does darken with age and sun exposure, but not in a smooth tan. I'm sure some blonds and redheads out there know what I mean. Their eyes are blue, usually light blue, or, rarely, light green. Their hair is blond, straight and silky. My MC man, Davien, is a Forest Person in appearance.
Easterners are very varied in height and physique, but they all have straight brown hair, of the lighter shades, and their skin is light but more prone to tanning or freckles. (Or both.) Their eyes can be green, brownish-greenish, or, rarely, brown. Basically, their eyes are darker than the Forest People's, but not as dark as the Agrothians.
Even though the Easterners and Forest People look a little different, they consider themselves one race, and have no problems with intermarriage; but it's rare, since their country is divided by a mountain range. However, they are separated from the Agrothians by an ocean, and, in recent years, hatred has arisen between the two countries. So intermarriage between them, if anybody even thought to consider it, would probably be forbidden.
These races are both totally human.
