| Post subject: | Laelin and the Fey |
Laelin: Servants of the bright one. Great winged creatures (heckofalot like angels) Standing nine to fifteen feet tall and in any battle can best even the greatest of demons. Fey: The result of Turned Laelin (Those betraying the Bright one and siding with the Dark one then being cast to the mortal world) and human pairings. At least one of every type of Laelin were cast to the mortal world. Their descendents inherit their traits. Fire Fey: Dwelling within the Thundering Mountains to the east, tending to be haughty and disliking of humans. Woods Fey: Their homeland is within the safe confines of nearly all forests, generally mistrustful of humans, they have on rare occasions befriended a select few. Possess the ability to hide in any arboreal environment Water Fey: Living in streams and rivers, can change their forms to that of running water to flow around their enemies and to travel at greater speeds, hate humans with an earthly passion and despise their human heritage. Return to water when slain. Stone Fey: Dwelling beneath the earth and tend to be slow in making descisions. When on the move, they appear to be rolling boulders which stack and melt together to create their true form. Prefer heavy weapons and have had little to no contact with the upper world. Possessing the immortality of their Laelin ancestors they tend to see themselves above humans and in every way superior to them. But some have retained the virtue and possible redemption of their human parents. |

Thanks, I thought about it for a long time, asking myself, "If there were such a thing, how would it have come about?" And my imagination just kinda got outta hand. |

They sound great! So are the Laelin angels? Are the Fey and Laelin the same in every regard except loyalty? And you said that that the Laelin could defeat any demon. Does that mean the Fey aren't the demons? |

These are awesome! Are there any elemental Laelin or are they their own element (light)? |

Does that mean the Fey aren't the demons? The Laelin are the angels. The fey are the result of human and Fallen laelin pairings. The Demons are more or less creatures inhabiting the hell like firmament beneath the material world. Steeped in evil forces and capable of much destruction. Rarely they can be defeated by humans, more often by the Fey and always by laelin. |

Suiauthon wrote: These are awesome! Are there any elemental Laelin or are they their own element (light)? They are Elemental in that their element is their main means of fighting. Little is known about the fallen Lealin save that they are the originating source of the Fey. Who inherited their properties. |

So they don't have elemental characteristics but fight with elements? |

No, their half human children inherited traits resembling the elements used. Complicated. |
