For a while now I have a basic grasp on small locations in my world, and on certain elements of global geography like the Twilight and it's surrounding Ice Ring, but nothing definite. So here's a map. Attachment:
File comment: The full map. Pardon any blurs. 044.JPG [ 3.24 MiB | Viewed 490 times ] Eartea is a super continent, with a huge patch of islands spread out through a huge bay which it forms. The island are mostly home to men and elves, while the arm of the continent stretching southwards is home to men and dwarves. This is the Soutwyth. Attachment:
File comment: The Soutwyth 045.JPG [ 3.77 MiB | Viewed 490 times ] The Norwyth is the third arm of Eartea, extending north away from the equator. A few outlying islands, as well as the huge northern delta, are inhabited by men, but most men are nomads moving between the valleys of the Norwyth. The elves live in the hills on the border of the Great Plain near the Ice Ring, and the dwarves live in the mountains and forests of the center of Norwyth. Attachment:
File comment: The Norwyth 046.JPG [ 3.77 MiB | Viewed 490 times ] Dragons inhabit the mountains of both continents in a fairly even distribution. They are noticeably absent from the islands of the North. The Burning and Steam Seas are closest to the North and South Suns, respectively, and are nearly boiling at the axis points. The land of Eartea is significantly cooler than the sea, so winds are constantly present. Storms of power much more intense than our hurricanes hit the coast throughout colder months of year. The summer is more like our summers: warm, and stormy, but not particularly dangerous. |

It looks very good. The coastline seems a bit smooth to me. (But if the map was intended to be drawn by people in your story...) |

My excuse is that smaller, regional maps will show more detail on the coasts than the large maps, which only show the really large parts of the landscape. But I'm definitely going to work on the coastlines more. |

It's really nice, Neil! Drawing in a car over a basic outline does wonders for drawing coasts. |
