Yeah... Unless you mean something besides a person having literal brass knuckles. That's what popped into my head, and I don't know of any weapon by that name.

I don't know exactly how to use them (they're illegal, anyway), but you curl your fingers through the holes, pushing that other end of it into your palm, and you whack someone in the face with them! I guess they really hurt people, and if you use them wrong you can hurt yourself, but they'd be good for hand-to hand, and you could make some that are different somehow for your world.

Yeah, that's totally fine, I think one of the things that make a story good is to have untapped potential in every way possible, which hopefully means you've used what you need to.
