Mohali is a country that is in a communist state of thinking that does not allow people to follow Jesu or even talk about Him. Aldra allows it.
Some of the marked places are villages. (like in Aldra, the star is where my characters stay at while they rest from escaping Mohali.) The landmark next to the border is where my ninja MC's camp out watching for people to cross over. The black mark is the city, which used to be a village, Jazmin and her friends grew up there. The dark green is the forests.

They do not have any special meanings yet, I was starting to use Aldra in another novel but then I decided to use it for my nano. I just made up Mohali when I wrote it.
The place in black on the map used to be a village, but then after several years grew to be a city that is now the capital of Mohali.

Mohali is a good name. It sounds like the Uzbek word for neighborhood.

hehe, well they aren't really good neighbors. They have a communistic mindset. When someone becomes a Christian it is the duty of everyone else to bring them in and the person will go on trial. The Elders then would sentence the person to death or to banishment.

Yeah. I was more thinking of overseas though. I have one of those "Jesus Freak" books that tell the stories of a lot of people who are persecuted overseas for Jesus. It was put out by "Voice of the Martyrs" (I think I did not spell that right...)

thanks. I looked Aldra up the other day and found there is an actually island by that name. I had thought that I made it up.

Right now I am unable to access internet. (Other than now, I am at work now.) But I am still working on Songs of Aldra book 2. So, I hope to get my internet someday soon.

I will soon introduce new places. I have a place that is south of Aldra which is like a Medieval country.
