| Most of you probably don't remember the Rogim.
Originally I envisioned the Rogim as a race of demon-possessed ape-like creatures...I want to move away from that a bit.

The Rogim, like the Huri, are demon-spawn. Unfortunately they're a bit less pleasant.

Long ago, before the Great Fire, when the Music was so strong you could hear it upon the wind, the demons entered Eartea.

When the demons left the spiritual plain and embodied themselves in the space-time of Eartea, they discovered they could not leave until Eartea was broken. Partially cut off from the spiritual world, their power would gradually fade.

To ensure their potency, they materialized and (unpleasant) bred with many apelike creatures, altering them and giving their children strange DNA. Ultimately they created the Rogim: human-like creatures, but demon possessed.

The demons can no longer physically manifest. So they inhabit the bodies of the Rogim.

The Rogim are both man and ape like, mostly hideous. They are built like men, but their backs are partially bent, giving them a perpetually pained appearance. They are hairy, but it is patchy, ugly, and short. The skin is grey.

Strangest of all are the eyes. They are cat's eyes, designed for seeing in the dark.

I am Ebed Eleutheros, redeemed from slavery in sin to the bond-service of my Master, Jesus Christ.

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Note: Ebed is Hebrew for bondsman, Eleutheros is Greek for unrestrained (not a slave).
