Technically, this might be better placed in the Village Commons area since it's a collaborative type thing, but I'm posting it here anyways because it seems better suited for here.

Ok. So here's the deal. In my worldbuilding I often generate a lot of interesting land masses that never quite match the essence of any of my worlds. So I decided since making land masses is a fairly quick process for me, I'd offer them up here for any who so choose to adopt for their fantasy maps. They're nothing fancy, just the basic outlines for you to embellish however you wish. I can't promise that I'll post in here with any kind of consistency, but when I have something to share I'll plop it in here for someone to use if they can. Other people can feel free to dump unwanted continents in here as well if they wish.

You can use these however you want in your fantasy maps. You don't have to use all the continents that come in one picture. You can just crop out the ones you don't need and focus on the one that caught your eye. It doesn't even have to be a continent. You can shrink it down to an island or turn it into the borders of a country if you so chose.

I actually hand-drew those some time ago, then scanned them to my computer and traced the outlines over in ArtRage using my pen-pad.


These were actually generated by a program called "Fractal Terrains Pro" which spits out realistic worlds and gives elevation and climate and everything. However, I've found their files not the most fun for my purposes, so I traced over the outline of this one for future use. Originally, it was made as a possible map for my world Fantasia, but I decided to offer it up here.

Well, at least the middle one... I like them all though, they may just need a little rearranging to fit, is all.

Dibs on everything in number five. I'm thinking about giving Eartea more continents, and these could work nicely.

I'm awful with maps, so this is great. I shall have to return when I have more computer capabilities.

Here's another batch! I strongly suggest that if you use the whole batch, you spread the continents out a bit, because as it is, they look a little too crowded.

I went through and picked the ones I needed that were the right shapes.
The bottom left from 8, bottom right from 9, the top and bottom on the left from 12, the little one in the middle also from 12, the one on the left in 14, and 15. Huh. *crosses arms* I thought I only needed four, but I ended up with more than that.

I printed off all of #16 for my younger sister to play with... if they ever turn into anything I'll make sure she credits you. At this point she just wants to draw in trees and mountains.

Hey, that's an idea...my siblings love maps, but I don't usually have time to draw them for them.

Can I claim the Continent 10 map? It would give me a good jumping-off point for my fantasy world....
