The Races of the Third Dimension, Miridos

The Mothura

The Mothura were the original Ghost Weavers, they possess the Blood of the Demon Lord of Chaos and Corruption, Nachgremond. As a result of this tainting their skin has become snow white, and the veins which streak across their body carry blackened blood. Their eyes have been changed to a dark lavender color and carry a pupil which takes the shape of a three pointed star. Before Nachgremonds corruption, he was one of an order of Angels charged with maintaining the form and substance of the world. With his fall into evil his powers were passed onto another, though he did not lose all control over it. Nachgremond now wields a corrupted power which can bend Web Energy to his will. In exchange for this exact power the Mothura made a pact with Nachgremond. They now serve his will, and the will of his master, Baal. Ghost Weaving allows one to alter and control the substance and form of the things around the user, advanced forms of this power allow one to become one with the objects around them and to draw their form into their own body. They can transmute materials within the field of their Weaving(including their own bodies) into other substances. The Mothura are a race bound to chaos and destruction, no different in that respect than the Akkatari. Their life spans reach up to one hundred and eighty years. They have no natural Elemental alignment.

The Veritoss

The Veritoss are the most technologically advanced race in all of creation. They build huge and complex cities out of metal, with working elevators, environmental stabilization, running water, and even hanging tram systems for rapid transportation. They often wear black chain-like apparel and leather; their uniforms almost universally have built in hoods. In addition, they always wear complex masks formed from glass and metal. The masks are somewhat a tradition, but, they’re not just for looks, having many uses, among them, immunity to airborne poison. They also create a highly specialized air mix which to the Veritoss means the difference between life and death. As of yet, no outside race has ever seen what this reserved people actually looks like. However, their skin color is likely ash grey. They seem to have a body form very much like the races of Tira, and they stand about 6 feet tall on average. It is also rumored that they possess tails. Despite their advanced civilization, the Veritoss have lost most of their cities to the invading Mothura. They are on the verge of complete destruction and only a few thousand individuals remain alive. The only reason they have survived thus far is that they were able to create an alloy which cannot be affected by Ghost Weaving. Before the hard times that have fallen on their race, the Veritoss were able to live up to two hundred years. They naturally gravitate toward the Fire element, and are able to master its extended element, Fusion, more easily than most.

The Ominoth

The Ominoth are an extremely tall race, however they have very spindly frames, and some describe them almost as insectoid though there is no true relation. They have an elongated facial structure and an extremely effective sense of smell. Skin color ranges from dull purple to grey and eye color tends toward some shade of green. This race, although native to Miridos, was the first and only race to reach the plain A’el and establish holdings there. As a matter of fact, up till now Tira has remained the only plain which they have been prevented from reaching. However, the dimensional barrier has weakened considerably with the extinguishing of the Primal Honor Flame and the Ominoth will soon be able to cross over to Tira as well. The reason behind their penetration into the other three realms is simple, as a race they are naturally attuned to warp energies. This allows them to cover short distances in an instant, and as this ability was developed the other dimensions were quickly discovered as it also allows them to cross over barriers with ease. The Ominoth are known quite accurately as the Warp Walkers. They are a peaceful race in general but are well versed in combat and fierce defenders of their people. They almost universally wear specialized plate armor which fits tightly around their bodies. They typically wear gauntlets which have long blade like protrusions that can be extended and retracted. They have proven quite a match against the Mothura and were instrumental in saving the Veritoss from destruction. The Ominoth have no elemental alignment.

Wow, this is awesome. I think I said this in another thread, but your names are great. ;)

Just one question: what exactly is Web Energy? It sounds cool... :D

Web Energy connects and aligns molecules and atoms to determine their substance and form. ... To put it simply... XD

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.
