I love that they are called the fallen Elders.

Eye color is most commonly bright green though it can also be yellow on occasion. These people often tightly wrap themselves in soaked cotton bandages as protection from the sun, often leaving only one eye visible in addition to their hands and feet from the wrists and ankles onward. They typically wear very elaborate clothing over top of these bandages. Their architecture is similar to Egyptians or Babylonians.
Very interesting.

they have strong carapaces like insects. Eye color is always a very dark navy blue with a gold pupil.
Could I use the idea of the yellow pupil for my exoskeletonized race?
They already have nothing in common with your race: they have hair, their covering is not particularly strong, never golden, never with spines or with other embedded weapons, they are not unemotional or plagued by war, they do not all serve one lord, and they do not serve dragons. They do not have particular powers over earth or fire.
They are not made into metal constructs, or have their souls contained in crystals (very good, very interesting ideas those are).
The blue and yellow would not be their only eye color; they would also have different shades of white, black, and gray, and blood-red, emerald-green, parrot-blue, amethyst-purple, and crystal-pink. The yellow pupil would be occasional.
Maybe I am only using my question as an excuse to talk about my own race.
I very much liked the names:
Araeth
Rikal
Loukria
Alesian deserts
Aura
Auraian
Akkatari
The High Dragon, Oushann’ Akbale
How do you pronounce Oushann’ Akbale? Are the suffixes "ia" and "ian" changed from made up suffixes, or were the words made with those suffixes already there?
