I'm new to the Holy Worlds forum, so first off I would like to say howdy. I'm a writer and graphic novelist working to become a minister.

For those of you who do not know what Ska'Lah'Seh is yet I would like to explain. Ska'Lah'Seh is a Table Top RPG scenario that I am currently working on. I originally wanted to work with some guys to make it an MMORPG but that never quite got off the ground. The Scenario will have its own website, God willing, and all its material will be free to get off the website. I am looking for anyone who would be willing to aid me in this venture, whether it be in lore or helping to translate the world into popular RPG systems like D and D, Gurps, and True D20. So feel free to post about that.

In my personal belief this physical world is an illusion; the only thing that truly exist is the spiritual world. I can't quite remember what you call this perspective but it's got a name. In Ska'Lah'Seh that is pretty much the gist of it. Only in Ska'Lah'Seh those who are familiar with this knowledge are able to affect the physical world. The less worldly and more spiritual someone is, the more they can do with this power. Now, this does not mean evil men can not do this, it just means that those with immense powers are all very Godly, (Because God is the source of existence) and thus they are good. Most evil men must find short cuts to power though demonic pacts or spiritual parasitism.

In Ska'Lah'Seh there is a substance known as Quintessence this is the fabric of reality; everyone and everything has quintessence. In order to use "Magic" one must bend the quintessence in all things around them. Because the Quintessence in the world around them is already assigned to something, it is almost impossible to bend or forge, as people in Ska'Lah'Seh like to term it. Luckily in Ska'Lah'Seh there is a renewable source of Raw Quintessence. The world itself excretes it, allowing people to gather it (through mining or through drawing the sap from special trees) its natural state and thus forge it into a desired result easily.

Demons are spirits that rebelled against God and thus were cut off from existence; this causes them to latch onto people and attempt to corrupt their hearts (because they can not absorb uncorrupted quintessence) in order to maintain their existence and perhaps even wholly possess their host. Demonic pacts are when mortals make pacts with Demons in order for the Demon to "grant them power" in exchange for their Quintessence.

Questions, Comments, or Concerns? This is a rough idea so anyone who has ideas to clean this up need only speak up.

I think it's a good system.
