Weekly Challenge #237: Write a couplet.

Directions:
1. Post on the challenge thread, declaring the goals you have committed to. This must be done before midnight on Monday.
2. When you have finished your goals, post on the challenge thread again, stating what goals you have completed, how many times you have completed them, and whether any of them were combined.
3. At midnight on Saturday you are not allowed to report any more finished goals, and the challenge is over.

Rules:
1. You can repeat the weekly challenges, and get more points, but if you repeat your own personal goal, you will not get extra points.
2. The organizer has the right to veto any personal goal that seems too easy (i.e. writing a sentence).

Points:
You can earn points in these ways:
1. completing the weekly challenge
2. repeating the weekly challenge
3. completing your personal goal
4. combining your personal goal and the weekly challenge

Ah, this should be easy, as Alan wants to court Tala. I've been trying to figure out how to put a courtship into the story. Alan has to be careful since Tala's dad was introduced as a guy who "kills people for a living".

Personal goal, press on with the Dec editing task.

(since the weekly challenge technically can be acomplished with writing two lines of poetry, it seems the Christmas bar is set 'holiday low').

Is it harder than writing one sentence?
If it is, then it should count. ;)

Well, I do have to write the back cover copy for it, so... I guess that's my weekly goal. ;)

Weekly Challenge Finished:
e2:10*
who? Sir.
you sir.
can? Sir.
do sir!

*Eph 2:10 "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." [NLT]
... inspired by my two favorite poets - e.e.cummings and Dr. Seuss
... and an old proverb: "The garden is finished when nothing more can be removed."

Personal Goal Acomplished: (still fine tuning)

I love e2:10

Weekly goal complete. And it's not Christmas Eve yet.
