The bograns are half crow, half falcon. They are mostly controlled by the Woydin.

The bograns’ eyes are bird-like, jet black, and small, and their black beaks are long, pointy, and curved on the end. Their heads are black and shiny. The bograns’ bodies are larger than falcons, but smaller than eagles, and have a lean build. They are jet black. Their black legs and feet are small and twig-like. The bograns’ wide tails are half as long as their bodies. They are black. Their black wings are the size of a falcon's, and have a 1.5 foot span.

The bograns are semi-sapient. They do not have any cobhaic powers. They are mainly used in battle for aerial attacks. Most bograns are wild, partly because they are difficult to tame. They give birth to four chicks at a time, which hatch from small, black eggs. Bograns can live for up to five years. Their call is an extremely loud caw. They are cold and stubborn.

The things I have outlined here are what is usually the case. It is possible for bograns to differ from this description. Those who do are either adored or shunned. If you have any questions about why I made them a certain way, ask away! It will help me to solidify them.

Is it possibles for bograns to waylay innocent travelers in groups or can they not work together? I'm guessing a single bogran would not be as much of a threat as many. Can they work together (Coordinate attacks, etc.) Have the bograns ever turned on their keepers, attacking them?

Looks good...I like the mix between the two brids. :)

If they are only semi-sapient, how can they be calculating?

They would be more solitary, like falcons or eagles, but able to work together if they needed to.

True, but that works with any kind of animal. :) The bograns are almost as large as eagles, and female eagles have been known to severely hurt humans/animals that are trying to get at their babies.

They could, but they prefer not to. The tame ones are more likely to work together.

I don't know....they haven't done anything yet. :)
