So in other words they are like normal animals but sort of with extra 'powers'? Were the Fierle created at the beginning like other animals and their numbers grew by reproduction. Did the children of one Fierle one non-Fierle ever have a few special powers?
Quote:
For instance, when a wolfin Fierle makes contact with a human, the human may experience a heightened sense of smell and smell a woody or doggish scent. They might see (if their eyes are closed, which is the easiest way to receive information from a Fierle) swirly lights, kinda like what you see if you close your eyes and push on your eyeballs.

They might feel a bit cold and notice that their vision seems tinted gray. Those sense-related changes are considered the Fierle's "fingerprint" - each Fierle has their own unique "fingerprint".
This is
very good.

I like that.
Also, I liked your detail about the 'prey' Fierle in hiding. Makes sense, really.

Would someone in contact with a rodent Fierle encounter an increased sense of "shortness"?
