So, you only put in the name of your character, your name, the link, and the adoption status? Nothing else? And what if you don't know how to link to that particular post?

Yep. If you need to link to a particular post you click on a little white thing that is just to the left of the date of the post, and then the url will be for that particular post and you can copy and paste it. I discovered that awhile back, and was very pleased... :D

Location: Somewhere in the Seven Universes
Name: Sirryoa
Race: Dragon
Gender: Female
Age: 229
Physical Description: She's about the size of a large dog, with dark blue scales on top fading to more of an aquamarine in her belly area. She has tiny spines running down her back to her long, thin tail. Her eyes are large and golden, with cat-eyes pupils. Her wings are large but capable of folding down against her back to keep them out of the way.
Location: The capitol city.
Skills: Stealth—silent movement and her small size makes it easier to hide. She's attempting to learn to pick locks with her tail, as the end is flexible, strong, but very thin. So far she hasn't had much success with that, though. She's quite capable of picking locks with a wire, though.
Passion(s): Music. Whether it's listening to someone else or attempting to sing, it's the one thing that will keep her enthralled.
Fears/Flaws/Insecurities: She's very uncertain of her own abilities, and making a decision of her own tends to panic her (usually resulting in a bad decision, which only makes her more panicked the next time she has to make a decision on her own). She also hates being alone, to the point where she won't sleep unless someone else is near enough she can see or smell him.
Family Situation: She hatched from her egg only to find herself surrounded by the crushed eggshells of her siblings and nothing and no one else. A day later, a group of thieves happened by. They fed her, and as they were the first other living beings she'd seen, she willingly went with them when they left. She's been living with their organization ever since.

Two wings are pink. The other two are green and black, respectively. You have a row of sharp spines going down your back (very sharp). You also hiccup rainbow bubbles... ~Vili
So, now you all know what I look like.

Name: Shoraz Nightfury
Race: Half-elf.
Gender: Male
Age: Somewhere in the hundreds.
Physical Description: Tanned but flawless skin (strange for anyone with Elven blood in them, I know) and long, black hair. His eyes are keen and dark. He is about 6'4'', with a lean but strong build.
Location: Wherever you like, in your fantasy world.
Skills: Magic (he can make things disappear and form illusions); swordplay; singing.
Passion(s): He wants to be in control of an enormous army someday. Or own a country. Something like that.
Fears/Flaws/Insecurities: Fears: that he will die before attaining his dreams; that he will be defeated. | Flaws: he talks too much; is over-confident. | Insecurities: about the same as his fears.
Family Situation: His family all disappeared at around the time he was a young adult (you can decide when that is for an Elf). He had three sisters, a brother, and lived with his two parents.

I'm still keeping up! Usually I'd start falling behind on the third day. XD

Name: Ryan Hart O'Rourke
Race: Irish
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Physical Description: He's 5'11'', with short, dark brown hair, a rather pale complexion, and dark blue-green eyes. He's usually cleanshaven; he has scars on his chin and other various places on his head, from a vehicle accident he was in a year ago.
Location: County Tyrone, in a village called the Moy.
Skills: He can play the pennywhistle and guitar quite well; painting; running (he's fast and has high levels of stamina).
Passion(s): Singing and music.
Fears/Flaws/Insecurities: Fears: fire and guns | Flaws: he's somewhat shy; he gets distracted very easily | Insecurities: that his singing isn't any good (and he really wants it to be); that he'll crash if he gets in a car (his accident terrified him).
Family Situation: He has two older brothers and a younger sister. His mother and father got divorced, and he stayed with his mother, who later re-married. That's the reason of why Ryan has two surnames.

Family Situation: She has three sisters and one brother. Her parents were both killed by a mountain lion when she was a pup, so she and her siblings were raised by an aunt of hers.

(I'm slowly but surely catching up...)

Name: Tyrannus
Race: Dragon
Gender: Male
Age: 464
Physical Description: Tyrannus is large, muscular, and vicious. His scales are blood-red, except for the spine along his neck, which is black, and his horns and claws, which are also black. His eyes are an acidic yellow color. His tail tapers off to a sharp point.
Location: Cold, misty mountains (hehe, Hobbitses references everywhere, Precious).
Skills: He's one of the swiftest flyers of his time. He's also very skilled at smashing things because he's so big. And he can understand (and speak a little of) the human language.
Passion(s): Gold and treasure.
Fears/Flaws/Insecurities: Fears: none, which makes it dangerous for him.| Flaws: he's arrogant, stubborn, and prideful | Insecurities: none.
Family Situation: None. He left his mother and father and his brother Chaos years and years ago to make his own way in the world. Y'know, all that fun stuff like pillaging and burning and stealing. XD

Name: Jalen
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 11
Physical Description: He's very small, even for his age, thin and short. He has short, wheat-blond hair, light blue eyes, and freckles. He usually has scrapes or bruises on his body, because, even though he's shy around people, he loves to explore.
Location: A small village somewhere.
Skills: He's very sneaky; since he's so small, he's also very quiet; he also has a great knack for finding things that are lost.
Passion(s): Exploring; reading (though he's not too good at it yet; he's trying to get better); watching birds fly; daydreaming.
Fears/Flaws/Insecurities: He's afraid of people. There's no particular reason; he just is afraid of them. His flaws are a huge amount of curiosity (which sometimes gives way to recklessness), and his fear of people. He's insecure in loud places or places with a lot of people, and he's insecure when it comes to talking. He prefers the company of animals and dreams to the company of humans.
Family Situation: He lives with his father (a miller) and his mother (a seamstress).

Name: Sherog
Race: He looks human, but he's much smaller--many think he's a changeling.
Gender: Male
Age: He's somewhere in his sixties... but he looks younger, since whatever he is has a lifespan of many years.
Physical Description: He's small--think Hobbit-sized--and painfully thin. He has a full head of thick, curly, dark hair, and large blue eyes. If he wasn't so dirty all the time from hiding in holes and carousing in the river, he would almost be handsome. He has the slightest hint of stubble on his face, and wears a tattered tunic and trousers.
Location: He travels and can be found anywhere--it seems, however, that he prefers living in dark, dank, and dirty places.
Skills: He's very agile, quick, and nimble. He can climb eerily well, almost as dexterously as a squirrel.
Passion(s): He doesn't really have any. It seems like he wants revenge on someone or something, but no one can ever get a straight explanation from him.
Fears/Flaws/Insecurities: He's afraid of humans, because most of them look down on him as a horrid little creature that should be exterminated or used as a punching bag. His flaws... would talking to himself and having split personalities and schizophrenia be flaws? If so, then that. He's insecure in places with no hiding spots, and places with a lot of noise.
Family Situation: He doesn't know where his family is--they could be dead, they could have left him.

(Yes, I'm well aware he's similar to Gollum from the LotR movies. That was intended; I'm sure with some work and time, he could become a very original character, though.)

Name: Melissa Gardener
Race: Human, American.
Gender: Female
Age: 14
Physical Description: She has long, brown hair that she usually keeps up in a braid. Her eyes are a light hazel color, and she has an average height and build. She's been described as 'plain' or 'homely'.
Location: Somewhere in the Midwestern states.
Skills: She's very good in school; she can ride horses quite well; and she loves to go fishing.
Passion(s): Teaching younger kids how to read or write or do simple mathematical equations; she wants to be a teacher one day.
Fears/Flaws/Insecurities: She's afraid of failing in school, or not living up to people's expectations of her. She is very feisty and stubborn, and oftentimes breaks the rules--though not usually on purpose. She sometimes interrupts adults to give her two cents' worth; she's very talkative.
Family Situation: She lives with her two sisters, her brother, and her parents.

(She could be for a historical novel or a novel taking place in modern times, 'tis up to you.)

Name: Jacob LaHaye
Race: Human, Irish-American (born and raised in America, so he doesn't have an accent)
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Physical Description: He has short and straight reddish-brown hair, a razor-thin beard, and gray-blue eyes. He's 5'11'', with a strong and lean build. This being the late 1800s to early 1900s about, life is hard, so he has various scars on his hands and arms, from working accidents and streetfights. Since he lives in the West, he usually has a bandanna tied around his neck or head.
Location: Somewhere in the west; maybe Colorado, California, or Arizona.
Skills: Horseback riding; he's a crack-shot with a rifle or pistols; he can speak two languages besides English (Spanish and Danish).
Passion(s): His only passion is to try and help get freedom for other Irish-Americans, who are constantly belittled simply because they were born in other countries, or their parents were.
Fears/Flaws/Insecurities: He's afraid of failing in anything he does. He's afraid to love people, for the fear that they'll leave him (perhaps someone he cared about was killed; possibly because they were Irish). He doesn't get insecure often. He's proud, stubborn, and reckless.
Family Situation: He has four brothers and three sisters, and they all live at home with their parents still, including him.

^_^ okay, then...*inspects characters* as much as I love all of them...I'm thinking about Jalen or Sherog. Jalen reminds me of Rowan of Rin, whom I love, and differentiating Sherog from Gollum would be a hugely fun challenge...I'll think about it and possibly have an answer tomorrow. (Who knows, my NaNo novel might end up being about one of them instead of me doing my WIP haha)

I have one!

He's a stableboy. He's human, "good"; but he's got a cold. He's twelve. He speaks crudely, has curly dark hair, is lanky, and doesn't have very refined manners. He lives in a village. His father was the gatekeeper, but the gatekeeper died (typical). He has large front teeth and a crooked grin, and he's allergic to cats. He's not very acrobatic, but he's a good runner and is amazing with animals. He gossips to the horses as he grooms them.

I will take him! I will take the stableboy to Mordor!
