Hey guys!

Do you have any specific writing goals for 2015?

What projects are you currently working on, that will carry over into the New Year?

Do you have any writing Projects that you are going to start in the New year?

How many of you have had little time to write at the moment, but would really like to write more next year?

I am /so/ busy these days, but I desperately want to keep writing. I love writing, I just seem to have less and less time for it. Making time is the hard part! What do you do in a busy schedule to make time for writing?

I want to COMPLETELY finish my book The Chronicles of Meridia - Deliverance, finish up illustrating a couple of childrens books I have created.

To answer your question about what to do when you want to write and don't have time to write? It may be the Lord telling you to take a break. A season of rest in writing probably has come to you. I know exactly how you feel. But trust me if you take some time off, usually the Lord is going to move you to a different level, prepare you for the next season of writing. You will feel rejuvenated and replenished and rested. You may not know it, but maybe you are tired. Pray and seek the Lord if this is a rest period for you. I felt this way this summer....by the time fall came I was done after I taught my last writers class for the year. I needed a break, so during my busy times he has rested me and grown me quite a lot! Now I feel like I am ready to finish this quest of my first book, finish the little kids books, and begin a new quest of the next in the Meridian Series.... The Chronicles of Meridia- The Next Generation.

Peace and Blessings to you. Hope this helps

My goals in 2015 are to publish my next two novels, at least one short story, and write and/or edit 2 other short stories.

Most of the above are already written, but one of the short stories will for sure be started (and maybe finished) this coming year.

When I'm really busy, I usually write whenever I can. Like recently when I've brought a notebook to work so I can write while I eat my lunch.

I'm.. doing a secret-ish project that I have a goal to finish next year.

I also want to finish the book that I am working on, although I will not make myself any promises. There are a lot of things I will be doing next year. But I really want to finish it.

I write in bed. :P

Also, I plan my stories. I can plan things when I am doing something else at the same time, although I can't really write while I am doing something else at the same time. And then, when it is planned, it takes less time to write.

I too write in bed. While I do my housework or something my head starts spinning with new writing material and sometimes the next steps for the book im currently writing :-)

I'm working on Project Nebula, and will keep working on that in 2015. I aim to get a solid writing routine established with writing solidly on Project Nebula for at least thirty minutes a day. Also start journaling again.

For the past six months or so, I've been building an outline for a three-year-long story which weaves storylines before, during, and after other works I've already completed, so I keep dropping references and easter eggs to the other works in it. It's definitely going to be one of (if not the longest) writing projects I've ever done.

Sadly, for the past three months, I haven't physically written anything. I've been focusing on story outlines.

I plan on writing more in 2015 by planning on writing less.
By which I mean that I find when I am forcing myself to write, pushing myself to finish this or that story, I write the least.
So I am hoping this next year to just sit down once or twice a week and write a few hundred words of whatever I am feeling at the time. Starting a new idea, worldbuilding a little, whatever I feel like. Writing is not a career for me, but it has been fun, and I'd like to be back to it.

The Talents Guild.

Written. Read by some wonderful betas. Edited. Read again. Fixed. Perfected. Published if I'm smart and very brave, and very, very, very, very, very lucky.

I plan to have my first novel, Egnitheos, published by the end of 2015. That is my goal.

As for side writing, I will be preparing backstory snippets, short stories, and 'deleted scenes' of the Egnitheos cast for the blog, to the joy of all the fangirls who will follow it.

There are a lot of good goals on this thread.

I'm working on a novel that I should finish in early to mid January. Once that's done, I want to continue to write a lot, working to get stories, articles, and eventually novels published. I had seven short stories and articles published in 2014, six in magazines and one in an anthology, and I'd like to get many more published in 2015.

I'm hoping to just write more of anything, but at the moment I'm not really sure how to move forward - if I want to work on a novel, or write short stories, or what... Though I do particularly want to get better at plotting, since that's where my past writing endeavors have often encountered problems. Big problems. :P

Finish my NaNo project. And complete 'QQ' abv. of Qwind's Quest for final critique.

Make a lot more world building projects.

I guess that's that.
