Daermyra is a half elf and the heir to the Velyari throne (a human kingdom). She never knew who her father was, in fact neither did her mother Queen Velrran. She has three younger siblings who are younger than her, but born from the Velyari king. She is currently sixteen, but because of her half elvish blood her knowledge is deeper.

Daermyra is the leader of the female group, the Davomars, and is usually in and out of Velyar, running rescue bands all around her kingdom against their rival kingdom. She usually gets annoyed with her siblings for not able to understand order; she keeps to herself when not interacting with anyone and absorbs herself in knowledge.

Daermyra might seem strict but because of her culture, she was raised for order, thus she might seem blunt or straight to the point. She barely jokes around and takes everything seriously. She takes honor with her full heart and believes that without it she is nothing.

Daermyra doesn't know her Elvish powers, since her father never visited her or her mother to tell Daermyra about her powers. Queen Velrran knew that Daermyra’s father was not human, but she never knew that Daermyra would inherit something from him. Queen Velrran doesn't even know about Daermyra’s wings.

Although Daermyra connects with the elves, she shunned because of her human blood. The elves do not understand Eldi’s (God) decision of making her a Guardian (one with wings), they accept her only because of Eldi, but if not for Eldi, they would never have accepted her.

Daermyra can read between the ‘lines’ easily, that she knows when to leave or to say words of encouragement. But her flaw is pride. Daermyra believes that she is always right and when anyone disagree with her, they’re wrong, which is the reason why she is silent and analyzes people to find if they are ‘worthy’ to be in her ‘level’.

What is her most valuable trait?

What is she most afraid of? Hopeful for?

How does she feel about being part elf?

Daermyra is a hard worker, she believes that anything that begins must have an end. She makes sure that everything need that day to be done, is done. Another is duty.

Daermyra is afraid that her standards are wrong, she is afraid of rebuke, since pride is her flaw. She always hopes for peace. Peace between everyone since that's what Guardians are for, to bring peace.

Daermyra feels that its a burden. Because of the elves shun her, she believes that everyone is against her.

Do the Velyari people know she is half elf?

What does she like to learn about?

How far would she go to defend her honour?

As far as a duel to death.

Does anyone ever confront her or speak to her about her arrogance?

Has she ever killed anyone while doing rescues with the Davomars? What does she think about killing?

Does she feel separated from her younger siblings because they are only her half siblings?

*headdesk* I reminded myself about this thread days ago... :/

Yes, usually her mentors, but mostly her parents.

Yes she has, although she tries to avoid bloodshed, so she injures people, but not fatally. She believes that killing is necessary only if the enemy strikes first; when she kills, she puts her dutiful mind on and blocks her emotional feelings. Daermyra also thinks that through death you can gain honor beyond anything.

Mistress Rwebhu Kidh wrote:

Yes, she thinks that her siblings are more privileged than her because they only bare the weight of one world, but she bares two worlds. She also stays at a distance because she might hurt her siblings with her elvish power.

How does she feel about being the heir?

Has she ever tried to find out who her father is?

Daermyra doesn't believe that the Velyari throne belongs to her because she is not a full blood human, causing her to distaste her title: "Princess".

Gwendolyn wrote:

Yes, many times, but *spoiler* Daermyra cannot find her father because he isn't in Gwedel.
