Ah, hello Amaron, there you are. Now, you are going to be interviewed, so you'll have to stop brooding over your battle plans and answer people's questions. There, that's right, close the books. I'm going to summarize my knowledge of you, so people have an idea as to who you are, so interrupt me if I get something wrong. Amaron: Very well, m'lady. Alright, I shall begin. Amaron is dark (almost black) haired and green eyed with strongly set, chiseled features, which is rather unusual as only royalty tends to have those attributes. He is the leader of an outcast group in the land of Narunin. This is so because in his youth he was a good deal more fiery and outspoken than he currently is. In the latter years of King Fayolnir (spelling under progress), the grandfather of king who reigns during the main events of my story (King Melendir), Amaron was a member of a zealot-like group that fought for rights to worship the High King (whom we know as God). However, Fayolnir was not gracious to these group of rebellious rabble, as he called them, and banished the main leaders of the group, shortly before his death. Amaron was one of the leaders. Over the years spent in their forest refuge, Amaron became more quiet and subdued, even gentle. He never forsook the High King, but leaned toward quiet worship of Him, instead of violent methods for freedom in it. Eventually, he became the leader, and new followers joined the group, supporting the outcast believers. By the time of my story, Amaron is a faithful leader, who dislikes fighting, but will defend his men to the last. He is one of those people with a very quiet strength, who although he is a fabulous general/captain fellow, is more than ready to give others front stage. If you made it through that summary, good for you, hopefully you're not bored of this character and will ask him some questions. |

What did you think is being exiled? Do you have any family you were forced to leave behind? What is it that you're most afraid of? If you were on a quest with others, would you choose to be the leader, the lookout, the provider, etc.? How long have you led this group of zealots? |

What would you do differently about your life? What are your aspirations? How do you express emotions? Who do you confide in? |

Lady Abigail Mimetes wrote: What did you think is being exiled? Well, being exiled at first was very difficult for me. I was proud and did not receive the news very well, I'm afraid. (That means he got pretty angry) But banishment was tolerable, especially since many of my friends were with me. Lady Abigail Mimetes wrote: Do you have any family you were forced to leave behind? No, I did not. I had no siblings, as my mother died giving birth to me, her first child, and my father had already been... dealt with by the king. Lady Abigail Mimetes wrote: What is it that you're most afraid of? Failing. I'm most afraid of failing a task set before me, or losing my men, or most importantly failing my King. Lady Abigail Mimetes wrote: If you were on a quest with others, would you choose to be the leader, the lookout, the provider, etc.? This is an interesting question, seeing as I am the leader of the Outcasts, as we are called. I suppose I would choose to be the old person who gives wise advise. *chuckles* Lady Abigail Mimetes wrote: How long have you led this group of zealots? Hmm... I think it has been close to eight years, now. Kya Lightwing wrote: What would you do differently about your life? Well, I suppose I often wish that I hadn't been so reckless in my youth, but then again, being who I was has made me who I am today, so I would not wish to change much. Kya Lightwing wrote: What are your aspirations? I would like to be free again, and to see the High King worshiped in both the lowliest and greatest homes in the land. Kya Lightwing wrote: How do you express emotions? Who do you confide in? *Looks at me quizzically* Could you answer this one, Lady Eliana? Me: I suppose... Amaron isn't extremely expressive, but when he does it would be quietly and most likely alone. Also, watch his eyes- that's where most of his emotion can be seen. *hands the interview back to Amaron* I confide in my closest friends. It is odd being one of the oldest member of the group, because there are very few with more experience who can impart the wisdom of their years to you. Nonetheless, I still take counsel with my "captains" and friends, and they with me. |

What drives your loyalty to the High King? Was there ever a time where you doubted Him? How/when did you meet Him and give Him your loyalty? |

Gwendolyn wrote: What drives your loyalty to the High King? Was there ever a time where you doubted Him? How/when did you meet Him and give Him your loyalty? His faithfulness to me must cause me to be loyal. If someone that great would die for someone as small as me, what other choice does the small one have but to worship the Great? Yes there has been. When I was first banished- well I wasn't so much doubtful as angry at Him for allowing it to happen. I did not understand why He would let His servants lose a battle. There were other times when I questioned what he was doing with us. We were sitting around doing seemingly nothing, and I could not see the point of that. My father was a follower of the King, and so I came to Him at a young age. It was only when I was older, though, that I truly became his soldier. Even then, I probably was not following His exact commands. I was far to eager to see my plans enacted, rather than His. |

What is the biggest cause of stress for you in your leadership? Do you feel personally angry with the king (or kings)? Do you ever struggle with this? Lady Eliana wrote: King Fayolnir (spelling under progress) * grins *

The greatest cause of stress... Well, whenever a group of travelers is seen in our forest there is a good deal of concern. A few times we have had mercenary soldiers attack us. I also worry about those new to the faith who have not been exiled that they will be punished for worshiping the High King. King Melendir is usually tolerant, but his outbursts against believers have become increasingly frequent. I have gotten better about controlling my anger, but yes I do struggle. Fayolnir and his son, Dorindir, were more oppressive against us and consequently I was more angry at them. Yes, the King has given me enough grace now to pity more than loathe our kings. I believe I have always been faithful to Narunin, and now I see that if I am to remain so, I must also honour its king. |

Did any particular events cause your change of attitude? Is there anyone in your group that you feel especially protective over? Why? |

No, not really. It was the waiting and waiting and learning to be patient that mellowed me out. No, no one in specific, but the younger ones in general. Well, no I suppose there is one, only Lady Eliana has not named him yet. He is shy and a bit clumsy and has gotten us into trouble once or twice. I hope I'm not too hard on him... Did I answer your question? |
