  Authenticity: A mirage in the desert
   Iridescent cloth
  Ambition: A political marriage
   Leaving a rival to die on the battlefield
  Manipulation: Reverse psychology
   A siren
   The plea of a beautiful woman
  Empathy: A rose plant infected by aphids
   A confidante who listens, only to then go and tell your secrets to the world.
 Self-esteem: Ugliness obscured behind a jewelled mask
