I believe it was more of a direct order from you-know-who. You just happened to be fortunate and found somebody you liked XD

Simperer: ... *deflects Mordir's sword with his own* *angles his blade inwards, towards Mordir's shoulder (since Mordir is still moving forward)* *instinctively jerks up his dagger--which he had drawn as he backed away--as he sees Mordir's dagger flash out* *half-deflects the thrust, though he is still wounded* Gah... *glares at me*

Hey, I'm allowed to take sides too. ^_^ ...(Is this dagger drugged?) (A dagger. Because he has more than one, of course XD)

No, it's not drugged. ;) (I took those away so he wouldn't knock Simperer out) XD Of course. An assassin should always have a nice supply of knives and such.

Mordir: My charm and good looks got me married. ;) Saving her life probably didn't hurt, either. I only do reckless abandon when I'm cornered.

*whispers* coughJaegarcoughcough. :) when each regiment turns twenty, Jaegar sends each to go find a wife from the nearby town, so he can make room in the barracks for more soldiers, which any sons the original soldiers had would provide.

Simperer: I could do better, if I felt you were skilled enough... *blocks the thrust and steps in, beside Mordir, to avoid the slash* *grabs Mordir's arm and twists it, then strikes Mordir's elbow with his sword hilt* like so.

(If that was a no- no then tell me) XD ok good. then I would have said it was unfair ;) and of course he needs to carry them at all times. ...goodness, Mordir, you're so conceited. Almost as bad as Lajh :rofl

Mordir: *Cries out in pain, his elbow shattering* Who says I'm not skilled? *Swing his dagger around and slams it into Simperer's leg, jerking his head back to hit Simperer (if he's behind Mordir?)* I've dealt with worse.

Yeah. XD I never really finished that story... It involved rogues invading Iluna's hometown and Mordir saving the town (or helping). And Iluna's dad hates him, and refuses to help him when he's badly hurt. So Iluna and Mordir's friend takes him away to nurse him to health. By then they were already married, though.

Kaida: Unfortunate for him... But then he's an assassin, so he's better off not speaking. He would be much worse off in Simperer's line of work. Though still probably not as badly off as Simperer, who can't tell female child from man. I wonder if he ever gets his boss and his daughter confused...
