I wasn't too sure where to post information about religions, so I chose Peoples, Races, and Tribes because they are the ones who practice the religion. (ML's, if this should be somewhere else, please move it)

Alphaism

These believe that the earth itself is a god that is control over everything that happens, but there are some who have made mythology of three triplets who rule the land, sea, and air. Atheism is also a rapidly spreading belief among Sations.

Polytheism

They worship many gods, some of which are the god of wood, the god of water, the goddesses of trees, etc. They have many myths and stories about where there gods came from and how they made the earth etc. (note-this is primarily from Enst, which doesn't have much information collected. This is mostly based on one or two tribes.)

Agnostics

They don't believe in any god.

Betaism

People worship the sun and the moon, believing that the sun controls physical aspects, such as weather and health. They believe that the moon controls the inner emotions and feelings such as hatred or joy.

Deltaism

People who believe in three triplet Gods who rule over Body, Mind and Spirit.

Gammaism

People belonging to this religion believe in an almighty God who has sent prophets into the world to prepare the way of a savior who will deliver them from bondage to sin.

Omegaism

These are people who believe that the promised one of Gammaism has already come. It is a new religion and is spreading.

Yes, I know. The names are awful. This is just a short description of each religion, which brings me to my question: How does one go about actually developing a religion. I don't want to sit there and dwell on it, after all, it's false isn't it?

I also have attached a map showing religious regions on the world.

I've moved your story to Culture. False religion is a cultural issue.

I am Ebed Eleutheros, redeemed from slavery in sin to the bond-service of my Master, Jesus Christ.

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Note: Ebed is Hebrew for bondsman, Eleutheros is Greek for unrestrained (not a slave).

I'll be developing a fractalling system for this in the near future :)
