Rebecca: Huh? What are you doing now Sea?

Me: Trying to get you to socialize with other people.

Rebecca: Eh... Thanks?

Me: Go have fun Rea.

Rebecca: I... will? *quickly gathers herself*

Me: *off to the side* She's from the sci-fi side, so go easy on her!

*Shoves Jessica in.*

Jessica: Is this one of those crazy adventures?
Me: Of course! Besides... it's another girl.
Jessica: Uh, yeah I can see that.
Me: *whispers* She's historical fiction so, don't bring aliens up too much

*pushes Tipy in*

Tipy: *extends hand* I'm Tipy!

*Zhef and Anzharf enter, though they know not how or why.*
*Me: I don't really interact with my characters if I can help it. It makes them more interesting for me to watch.*
Zhef: *enters half a step ahead of Anzharf, of course...* Great! I told you we were going the wrong way!
Anzharf: *ignores Zhef's outburst, and speaks to the three already present.* What is this place?
Zhef: *Thinking Anzharf was talking to him.* How should I know?!
Anzharf:*facepaw* I was actually not asking you.

Tipy: Somewhere.

Zhef:*Crosses arms and looks at Tipy with eyebrows raised.* Somewhere? And how is that supposed to--
Anzharf:*cuts Zhef off mid-sentence by stomping on his foot.*
Zhef: What the?!
Anzharf: *speaks in his native tongue.* N'rar nash! Ect ne pfunarf.
Zhef: *Looks back at Tipy. Then back at Anzharf.* Fine, but if I don't start getting some answers soon. *begins to crack knuckles.*
Anzharf: *Stomps on Zhef's foot again, harder this time.*
Zhef: Yeow! *Holds his foot as small tears come to his eyes.* Okay...You've made your point. *Collects his composure and carefully sets his foot on the ground, wincing a little as he does.* So uh... Do you all have names, or just Tipy?
Anzharf: *Raises his fore-paw to his chest.* I am called Anzharf. *Bows slightly.*
Zhef: Who calls you that?
Anzharf: *Growls low.*
Zhef: *Quickly takes a limping step toward the others and offers his own hand.* Heh heh...My brother is such a kidder. *Recites an obviously rehearsed greating.* I'm Zhef, and I'm delighted to meet you! *Looks back at Anzharf for any sign of disapproval.*
Anzharf: *nods*

Rebecca: *rolls her eyes at the bickering human and cat-like creature, shaking Zhef's hand* I'm called Rebecca, but Rea will do just fine.

*after doing so she extends a greeting to both Jessica and Tipy*

Zhef: *claps his hands together and rubs them quickly as he speaks.* Right! So now that introductions are finished. Would anyone mind telling me where we are exactly?

Rebecca: *furrows her brows at the large room they were in* I'm not entirely sure myself. Might as well take a look around while were on the subject.

Jessica: How are we supposed to look around if there is nothing to look at? Except for walls of course.

Rebecca: Well, there's a table with the food that Sea provided. But other than that there's nothing but walls. Where are the doors exactly?

Zhef: *Ears perk up at the mention of food. Whispers to Anzharf,* That the sea provided? Why didn't she just say seafood?
Anzharf: *Shrugs*
Zhef: *Makes his way--not so nonchalantly--to the table, whistling as he does. Examines the strange food, then picks up a small, squishy, white, rice ball. He quickly pops it into his mouth and chews.* Mmm'mm'MM! This stuff is fantastic! There is smoked fish in the middle of these balls! *Begins to eat more freely.*
Anzharf: *Seeing that there is enough food to occupy Zhef, Anzharf turns to examine the wall nearest to him. He places his front paws on it to get a better look at the seam where the wall becomes a ceiling. He pushes himself off and turns to look at the center of the room where the ceiling rises quite a bit from the floor. He notices something he hadn't before. A large chandelier hanging far above the table of food. He also notices that there are no doors.* Zhef, stop eating.
Zhef: *Looks up from his gorging. Small bits of rice and other things fall from his stuffed cheeks as he speaks.* Why?
Anzharf: I don't see any way out of here. That is probably our only food, and you have already eaten a quarter of it. *Turns to Rea, but directs the statement to everyone.* We might be in here for a while...

Rebecca: *an intense, focused stare occupies her face where a light-hearted one had been, signaling the awakening of the more serious side that her military training had instilled in her* Everyone, look for any dents in the floors or walls. Perhaps there's some sort of hidden switch. *begins looking herself*

Tipy: *nods her head after introductions* *slowly feels the walls*

*Jessica goes to another corner of the building and starts feeling the walls there.*
Jessica: What is this?! Where I come from, almost everything is made of wood but, this is definitely not wood.

Tipy: *gets out a gun then begins to fire one shot at the wall, to no avail it doesn't work*

Jessica: Yikes! What was that?

*At the sound of a gunshot, Anzharf jumps several feet off the ground then crouches in a pouncing position with the hair standing up on his back. Zhef curses and stumbles back into the food table, knocking a few items to the floor as he does. One of them was a medium sized fish.*

Zhef: *Quickly picks up the fish and blows the dust off and checks to see if it is okay. His look turns sour as he turns to Tipy.* What in the name of my name was that?! My ears are ringing louder than...louder than a...Dah! *Shakes the limp fish at Tipy as he speaks.* You see! I can't even think straight now thanks to your little...whatever that thing is.

Jessica: How are everyone's ears?

Tipy: *holds her gun into the air* *moves her cloak showing around ten other guns with her* I'm sorry. I'm used to everyone to know how a gun sounds.

Rebecca: *jumps at the sound of the gunshot, drawing out her own and without hesitation shooting in the direction of her attacker, luckily missing her target* Tipy? What in the world are you doing! You nearly- gnk...

Jessica: I know how a musket sounds but, that sounded more like a cannon!

Rebecca: It's not so bad once you get used to it.

Jessica: But, but, but your scifi I'm historical fiction!

Zhef: *Stares at the conversation with his mouth agape. Eyebrows gradually furrow as the conversation get more and more strange.* What are you all talking about?
Anzharf: *Rubs his more sensitive ears.* A warning would be appreciated in the future. Not all of us are used to the sound of your gons.
Zhef: I think she called it a goon. *twists finger in ear.*
Anzharf: Fine, goons. There are greater issues at hand then the screaming metal sticks. Has anyone found any way out of here?

Rebecca: *attempts to comfort Jessica* They aren't that bad. *continues to search along the walls* Maybe the ceiling...?

Anzarf: *Looks up at the chandelier, then down at the table underneath. Walks closer. Carefully slides the table off of the rug which it was sitting on. Pushes the rug aside revealing a trap door.* I found something. *fumbles with the latch but cannot undo it with his paws.* Its a door, I think. Could just be a cellar.

Jessica: Even a cellar could be better than this place...

*Opens hatch, greeted by the strong scent of ancient mildew, draws out gun* Cover your ears! *shoots down the chandelier, taking the faltering candles from the smashed fragments of metal, cleaning the debris from the about-to-be source of light*

Jessica: Where can I get one of those guns! That was so impressive!

Rebecca: *hands a candle to Jessica* They're standard military rifles. People don't normally get them otherwise, unless you're a hunter or something of the sort. *is comforted that she is more awestruck by the weapon than frightened*

*Jessica is puzzled*
Jessica: what are rifles?

Rebecca: High-power guns. They're more powerful than the smaller ones.

Jessica: oh I see. We don't have those where I come from...

Tipy: *gets out rifle with an in-fro red glass at the top* I'm going in.

Rebecca: *follows Tipy, not knowing what was in the deserted passageway*

Tipy: *walks silently down the stairs**looks up at Jessica* I've got guns, not gons or goons, because I'm suppose to protect my people.

Zhef: *Watches the chandelier crash into the floor and partially collide with the table of food. Tangles his fingers in his already tangles hair in fear and anger. Tears once again begin welling in his eyes. Whispers,* No... *Falls to his knees and crawls to were the food has been scattered about. Picks up small hand fulls and the tears begin to fall.* Why?
Anzharf: *Shakes his head* Come on Zhef. They are leaving us behind. *He then quickly takes a hold of Zhef's shirt behind the neck and lifts him from among the ruined food.*
Zhef: *Fruitlessly struggles while being carried to the descending staircase.* No! No, I can't go! Not like this!

Tipy: *raises eyebrow*

Jessica: *whispers* I think that's what you would call a little over dramatic...

Tipy: Hmm...

Zhef: *Begins what has been termed 'Turkish Delight Detox' which always begins with a lot of weeping and moping.*
Anzharf: *Still holding Zhef by the scruff of his shirt calls down the stairs,* Sfho, c'han anyfone fhee the mnottom?

Tipy: Er...What did you say?

Anzharf: *Sets Zhef down for a moment* I said, can anyone see the bottom?

Jessica: I can't, it seems to go on forever!

Rebecca: *glances over to Zhef, the man still lamenting the loss of his meal, pulls out flashlight, holding it close to her body* I can't tell. *takes a heavy chunk of rubble from the broken chandelier and tosses it down, listening for the hollow echo of clattering metal*

Tipy: *gets rifle**puts in a blue bullet**aims**fires**bullet hits metal, making metal burst lighting up the tunnel* Special bullet.

*blinks* What was that supposed to do? *sighs and drops another shard of metal, since the gunshot had disrupted her first attempt*

Tipy: Uh, it was suppose to light up the tunnel?

Rebecca: *nods in understanding* Well, at least we know this thing has a bottom.
