SORRVEN RACES

Thonack: (Thong-ak) The Thonack are large dark brown/red creatures, they are usually about six and a half feet in height, they are the most aggressive race, large and ugly. The Thonack normally wield scimitars, axes, clubs and broadswords. They have no hair and normally do not wear much clothing, unless they are going to war; then they wear armor. The Thonack; after going under the rule of -the bad dude?-, they went to war with the other races.

Grago: (Graw-go) the Grago are large people, usually eleven torf (about seven feet) in height. They are as tough as the rocks they live on. The Grago’s faces are normal, save rocky bone coming down their ears, and going to the bottom of their chin. The Grago are not especially smart and keep up with the other races by mining in the hills, the profit for these valuable ores are great. They are very strong, lifting three times what a average Helvorr could.

Helvorr: (Hell-vore) The Helvorr are a laid back race, not caring much beyond food, money, and entertainment. They usually measure around one and one half Vill ( five feet nine inches) in height. The Helvorr appear human like. They also have a tea time every afternoon.

Selentae: (sell-in-tay) The Selentae are a small gaunt people, all of them exactly eighteen krone (two feet) in height, none are different in height, unlike the other races; whose height varies. They are very musical, and magical. The Selentae despise violence and when war breaks out, they retreat into their hidden villages. The royal family of the Selentae have a pair of wings; to show their nobility.

Kylon: (Kie-lon) at first glance the Kylon appear to be Helvorr, but a quick glance at the ears can tell that it is in fact a Kylon. The Kylon has always had a keen sense of spirituality, knowing that somewhere there was a greater being. Even though the Kylon are small in numbers they have the respect of all races, for one Kylon can defeat almost one hundred Thonack. This skill was shown when -the bad dude- attacked Kylon; the odds were five hundred Kylon, against nearly five thousand Thonack, at the end of the battle; only two hundred Thonack remained, but records state that no Kylon survived. The Kylon fought to their very last breath. They will never be forgotten.

That is a vague description of them.

Are there any Kylon left, that didn't fight? I'm assuming the first race is the only real evil race, but the second can be easily duped into fighting. Are the Selentae any good at fighting?

Well... yes. There is one Kylon left, that is what I am thinking the book will be about; the last Kylon.

That didn't fight

Their cities were raided so everyone; even the non-combatants, were killed. And also, there are not really Kylon that can't fight, if you are old enough to marry, you are old enough to fight, they are trained since birth. I you could classify them as anyone in the "real" world, they would be monks. Distant from the rest, different from the rest.

The Thonack (Thoe-nock) were the most evil of all the races, then Torvorr came (a bad king dude) took reign over them, then they were really bad

but the second can be easily duped into fighting

Yeah the Grago are easily angered

Are the Selentae any good at fighting?

The Selentae are not fighters, if evil comes, they run. But if others lives are jeopardized, and if they have no where else to go, nowhere to run; the will fight. And I'm thinking they fight pretty darn good!
(not as good as the Kylon of course)

So I'm assuming they are trained to fight but they don't like to. Is this because they are scared, or because they don't believe in violent solutions? They sound like they could really surprise the enemy.

Yeah the militia (if you can call it that) are trained to fight, but the Selentae do not believe in fighting, so they don't. Unless of course what I said earlier.
