This is some more information about the nation of Culvinis (Full name: Electory of Culvinis) in the world of Enderion. If you want a birds-eye view of ALL the nations in Enderion, then I also have a thread for that here.

Electory of Culvinis
The Electory of Culvinis is a medium-sized country located in a central location in Enderion. It is very rich in trade and culture, but is sometimes lead astray by other nations and signs treaties it tries to get out of later. Thus, the saying, "Never trust a Culvinian". The country is very rich and prosperous and most people live in or around the capital city of Culvin.

The government is fairly complex and cumbersome but is, in practice, a democracy. The Electory controls the country and makes all decisions. The country is divided up into two hundred electorates and each electorate may send one representative to the Electory. The capital city of Culvin is allowed to send two representatives, one which is the Supreme Eletorate (the equivalent of Britain's Prime Minister). However, the Supreme Electorate may be deposed at any time by the Electory, so a Supreme Electorate rarely stays in office for more than a year, making the nation fairly unstable.

The land is fertile and is especially good for growing grapes (in the Western region). Culvinians love wine but the bulk of it is shipped to other nations. Most of the population tends towards the western side and the eastern islands are sparsely populated. They do have good land for timber though and lumber is a large industry on the islands.

Culvinis is primarily a merchant's nation, so merchants are the highest class of society. A merchant is considered successful if he has a large belly, for a large stomach means enough food to put on the table. Lean people are looked down upon. The lifestyle of Culvinis is extravagant. Large parties are held every day in the wealthiest villas and all the successful merchants are invited to attend. There are also public parties that are held for everyone, but these are never as fancy.

Internationally, Culvinis has also been friendly with Qaluros, but has often tried to weasel out of treaties with them. They are usually especially unfriendly with Tarbiyaan. Because both Véhonas and Culvinis have many eastern holdings those two nations often deal with each other on that front. Culvinians are very fond of dwarves and the Forest Dwarf tribe lives in the forests of Culvinis to the East. Culvinis also buys many precious metals from the Mountain Dwarves, but has no dealings with the River Dwarves, for an unknown reason.

This nation is based off of: Italy
The country's Name: Culvinis
The people's name: Culvinians
Old Name: Vitnea

That's the nation of Culvinis. What do you think?

Update: I've got a new thread for Culvinis with some new information in my new subforum here. This thread can be closed or deleted, I guess.
