The satyrs’ eyes are almost cat-like and are usually ocean blue with silver flecks. Their noses are long, with thin nostrils, and their mouths are long and very slightly full. The satyrs’ faces are short and thin. Their ears are medium length and are also thin. The females’ hair is shoulder length, while the males’ is regular length. Their hair is usually curly, and can be black, white, auburn, or brown, depending on the colour of their coat. The satyrs are the same height as the average human. Their upper body is that of a human, and the lower of goat. They typically have medium complexions.

The female satyrs’ clothing is made out of a light fabric. It is comprised of a tunic-like blouse with flowing sleeves. The males’ clothing is a slightly heavier fabric. It is comprised of an un-belted tunic. The colouring always compliments the hide.

The satyrs’ speech is neither slow nor fast, and it is very slightly garbled. Their movements are slightly swift and jerky.

Satyrs are sensitive. They are artistically minded, and are usually kind. Satyrs are quiet and shy.

Satyrs like grass, music, whites and yellows, and goats. They dislike silence, and blacks and blues.

Jasmine is beneficial for their health. Sarin can be damaging and/or lethal.

Satyrs can be subdivided into four sub-races: music, drama, painting/sculpture, and writing. I won’t get into them now, but if you’re interested…maybe in the future!

The things I have outlined here are what is usually the case. It is possible for satyrs to differ from this description. Those who do are either adored or shunned. If you have any questions about why I made them a certain way, ask away! It will help me to solidify them.

Hey Raven,
I really like the thing about the jerky speech, makes me think of them as excited and energetic. I just have one question: What are all these "four ____ races", because I've seen them around on here in different places. Are they for a story you're working on? If they are, I'd like to read it..sounds really interesting.

I am developing my fantasy world. In three years or so, I will begin actually using it in my writing, but I want to have it mostly/all the way developed first. I learned the hard way not to just jump in and start writing. :) I do have a story idea that I'm looking forward to using, though.....

What is Sarin?

What you said about their speech and movements makes them seem excited, but then you say they are quiet and shy, and then you say they dislike silence.

The jerkiness of their speech and movements can be a result of being unsure of themselves, which can be caused by shyness.

They dislike silence, because they like music. They like music noise. :)
