| When are the Lausers writing the definitive book on essence mapping? Seriously though. Would it be plausible for the experts to put together a short book on essence mapping? I would definitely buy it. When I think of this idea I keep being reminded of Jordan's logline book. The essence mapping book would be similar in essence, I think. (Pun completely intended. ) | |

| That would be cool, and I would buy it too! Juliet is actually working on some a glossary type thing and stuff, so that's cool. A book is definitely something to hope for though, so I'm going to join you: Suiauthon Mimetes wrote: Suiauthon and Lycanis Mimetes wrote: | |

| *nods* Yeah. The Glossary is a start, but that could be expanded into a full book of epic awesomeness... (Plus, having a book I can pull off my shelf is easier than having to find a thread on HW. ) Suiauthon and Lycanis Mimetes wrote: | |

| * giggles * * shakes head * I have actually thought about this, and there is a lot that could go into it. A lot, in fact, that hasn't even been introduced to the public yet (I've been sort of demoralized by the fact that very few people that I know of even know how to use X+...). I never thought anyone else would even want a book about it (not just X+ of course but Xbasic as well). This was sort of a nice surprise. Still, is there a realistic market? * tilts head * Of course, if it was a self published book online, there wouldn't be much loss involved even if not many people bought it, would there? * doesn't know much * Just the time and effort of making the thing, and considering how much I like to talk about X the writing of it at least wouldn't be too much to deter me from attempting it... | |

| *nods* You are probably right that there isn't enough of a market (at least at the moment anyways ). Yet, an ebook (I imagine that it is simpler to figure than a physical book) could still work wonderfully for the few of us that would leap at the chance to own one -- provided you have the time to make it. | |
