Idea 1, Idea 2, or Idea 3? I need opinions.

Idea #1
When Tadix is put in jail, no one comes to rescue him. He stays there for many days, while Koon and Hofwu wonder what’s happened to him. Because Hofwu didn’t return to Aeloo, his country attacks Ilakiool to retake their ambassador.
Finally, when war reaches the city, they use the confusion to rescue Tadix, bearing news that his family was driven off by soldiers. Tadix suggests that they hide in an abandoned castle that he found once, and the others follow his idea.
Once inside the castle, they wait. Unfortunately, soldiers discover the castle ruins, and inspect it for the ambassador. There’s a fight, and the castle begins to fall apart. Tadix keeps the soldiers occupied while the others escape. No one finds out whether or not he lives, and the book ends
Idea #2
When Tadix is put in jail, no one comes to rescue him. He stays there for many days, while Koon and Hofwu wonder what’s happened to him. Because Hofwu didn’t return to Aeloo, his country attacks Ilakiool to retake their ambassador.
Finally, when war reaches the city, they use the confusion to rescue Tadix, and they all manage to escape. Tadix suggests that they hide on board a merchant vessel, and the others follow his idea.
Tadix is the last to enter the docks, because during his imprisonment he suffered. But then, soldiers spot them, Hofwu particularly, and they attack the group. Tadix prevents the soldiers from reaching his friends, and realizes one of the soldiers is his brother.
Again, no one knows whether or not Tadix lives or dies.
Idea #3
Use the same idea as in the original plot, with no changes. This seems like a bad idea, mainly because it won’t be as long as the other two ideas I proposed.

Idea 2 has more possibilities and tension, I think. There is more at stake and more to keep our intrest.

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

I agree with Airi, and voted for choice #2. :) I especially like the idea of Tadix finding out one of the soldiers is his brother.

Yes, that perticularly interested me, as well, Za. You could become very creative with that, Sir K.

Yep, I felt the same and voted for 2 as well, before I read any of the comments underneath the main post. :D
