I like to estimate the amount of chapters that will be in the first draft and then divide the chapters into sections. 4-6 sections seem to work best. Then, you fill in one sentence for each section and voila! You have a plot! To make it more detailed, I keep a book with more detailed notes with characters that will be in the scene, what will happen and where it will happen. Just a tip from me!

That sounds interesting. I have a plan, but apart from that I just work with what's in my head. I don't break up the chapters etc. It might be something I will try. 

 I like the idea of notes at the beginning of each chapter, I think that is something that would really help me.
