Post subject:  All Dragons - DEVELOPMENT AND INTERACTION
Ok, guys, here it is! This is where you take your dragons and put them though their paces, so to speak. This thread is primarily a tool for your scaley beasties to interact, fly, and play together. Wrestling matches are permitted, as long as they don't get out of hand. In short, write your dragon like you would in your novel.
To the dragons: While we'd prefer you left them behind, all riders you bring with you must be kept in a saddle or under complete supervision, this forum is not accountable for lost or damaged Riders. ;)

Malcolm: Oh, I'm willing enough to watch the little humans play their games. But they don't require more than a snort of a shrug in response. They never seem to get past the awe of us.

Me: Now you'll be dragon-educated.

Mylo: You saying I wasn't before?

Me: No, I was implying it. There's a difference.

Chayn: [Roars and lands heavily by Mylo. Shakes herself before furling her wings] It's good to be among other dragons.

Me: She'll be in here on and off. Mostly on. She's also in a duel, which is active and dormant. ;)

Me: Just for clarification, growing up as a wyvern isn't usually much fun or games at all so Malcolm is just not sure how to respond. I'll have to think of something for him to do... Oh, and how big are all this dragons, generally?

Me - *looks at Thysal* Last I checked, she was about the size of a Shire horse, with a longer, slender neck (not long like a diplodocus, but more like an Arabian horse). Her wings are another matter altogether . . . kinda like sails.

Thysal - *ignoring author* C'mon, Chayn! *Skims over the water* Maybe we can dunk Malcolm later . . .

I just want to make sure Erroy doesn't hurt anyone. He's the size of a small jet... Malcolm's a bit big too.



Erronys: *reaches the crest of his climb and dives, flipping onto his back just as he reaches the water causing to pool to empty all over everything*

Malcolm: *gives Erroy a weird look*

Erronys: *grins*

Me: Chayn's about the size of Saipphira. Mylo's a bit smaller.

Mylo: Depends how I'm standing.

Me: You only stand when you're on your hind feet. You're basically crouching on your belly when on all fours.

Chayn: [Chases after Thysal] That souds fun. [Dives briefly underwater, expecting to gracefully come back up. But the water slows her movements, and she fails miserably, having to climb out of the water and leap into the air on land] Well that was the most embarrassing thing I've ever done.

Me: I'm bringing in just those two until I find Cannon Ball a proper name. If any of ya'll have suggestions, I'd be glad to hear 'em....

Cat-Dragon: I want to wrestle a dragon. :twisted:

Me: I put down how big they were in the intro thread. I honestly can't remember. XD Probably not as big as Malcom and Erronys, though.

Me - You've still got to work on that . . .

Thysal - :roll: *walks over to Rinabeth and looks up.* My, you're tall. Know how to swim? Want to wrestle? Let's go get the water dragon! *Runs to the water, takes off in a graceful jump, and tackles Mylo* WATER FIGHT!

Me - We could also get them hyped up on caffine or sugar and see what happens. *looks around for a coffee machine*

Me - I'm not sure it's a good idea, but it's an interesting one, no? How would your dragon function on caffine? *sets out a large bucket of coffee beans and steps back* :twisted:

Me - I don't think we expressly said no humans allowed. I'm not responsible for any damaged riders, though . . .

Thysal - YES! *pounces on Jayson, rolling him around with her muzzle and paws* Where'veyabeenwhere'veyabeen!?! *finally flops down and sniffs him* It's been forever!

Me - Of course, they can always move to general conversation. Thysal can be part time in both places. Also, I'm going to bring another dragon in here soon . . .

Cannon-ball: *watches Thysal wrestle Jayson* I asked for what? Even if you tried, you couldn't hurt me...

Cat-Dragon: *is annoyed by the thrashing, but not really hurt by it* *catches Chayn's tail in his mouth* No thrashing!

Me: How can you talk with your mouth full?

Cat-Dragon: *hits me with tail*

Me: HEY! Keep that up and you're outta here!!!

Malcolm: The dragons here are much more flame than ember. The mark of most dragons in Lor-Amar has been subtlety.

Mylo: [Slams into the water] I see. [Swims in circles deep underwater, then surges upward, grabbing Ionas as he passes, then explodes out of the water and into the air]

Me: What's he doing? o.O Mylo, be careful! We're not insured!

Mylo: [Huffs] Oh relax, I won't hurt anyone. [Swoops down low and let's go of Ionas]

Me: Sometimes I wonder if he's fully matured. :roll:

Thysal - @Cannon Ball: You asked for a dunking, is what, so be thankful I'm distracted over here. *swats Jayson with a gentle claw, then eyes Cannon Ball* And if you even think about injuring Jayson, you're going to be in such a world of hurt . . .

Me - *glares at Thysal* Chill, would you?

Thysal - *mutters* Same goes for his author . . .

Me - Aaand, that reminds me. Guys, meet Firath.

*A redgold dragon strides in, larger than Thysal, but wingless*

Firath - Where am. . . oh, wow. *looks at all the dragons* This place is huge. And . . . there's a pool. Oh yes! *dives in gracefully* Whoot!
