| Here's my first Essence Map ever! I tried to put into words how I feel about good old Middle C (on the piano). Essence of Middle C Color: ---Warmth: fire in a hearth / nestling on the couch under a blanket / snuggling a sibling under thick quilts on a cold night / a fur coat ---Clarity: undisturbed swimming pool / tropical ocean / distinct crags on a distant mountain / distinct bumps on a distant cloud ---Comfort: slipping on a pair of jeans that fit perfectly / a well-worn T-shirt / taking off shoes after a long day / a hot shower Sound: ---Familiarity: spotting a friend's face on a movie screen / a cousin's face in a sea of strangers / finding your carpool friend after waiting for hours ---Loyalty: foreigners accepting an American as a trusted friend / a bilingual American / strangers becoming friends though shared trauma ---Trustworthyness: entering your home neighborhood after navigating a strange city / hearing a song you love on the radio after a bunch of songs you hate How did I do? | |

| Oy! I love this - very creative! It captures Middle C really well - I love the metaphors in 'comfort' I love how the overall impression is one of a friend. Good work! Andrew | |

| You did brilliantly, Aemi! I kept singing the note to myself the whole time I was reading it, for some reason. Well done. | |
