*raises hand* I has a question. Bear in mind I know absolutely nothing about essence mapping... Anywho, here is my question. Is it possible to map a book, story or poem? Has anyone attempted such a feat? And anyway what would you map? Just a random thought... |

I'm no expert either, but I think the point of essence mapping is to describe anything you want too, the more indescribable it is the better! I think you just take your mental image of the thing and connect it to other things. I hope that helps a little at least! *subscribes and waits for an expert essence mapper to come give a better answer* |

I guess what I was asking is can you essence map the heart of a story. So if you had a perfect plot, but needed a lesson or point, could you use essence? |

I don't know much about essence mapping; but I think you could probably map the essence/plot of a book, maybe. I'm not totally sure.

Of course you could! =D Essence is the main idea of something, the heart of what makes something unique. And books/stories have that essence just like more...animate things. At any rate, try it out! I don't think anyone's tried it before and 'twould be awesome to see/read  Andrew |
