Where? -A Short Story Where am I? I wonder, where I am? What was that noise? Who made that noise? Is that the person who Put me here? Is that the person who hurt me? Is that why I am still hurting? Is he the one who made me forget? Is he the one who will keep me here? I wonder if I'll get out of here. I wonder why I feel so weak? Did he make me weak? Am I still moving? Is this what it's like to die...? The End [EDIT] Okay, I forgot to put all question marks,  my mistake. Sorry.

This sounds like fun, Green! *Is good and makes something up on the spot* Why- Short Story wrote: Why? Why does those lights flash? Why are they red and blue? Why not green, or purple? Why are they those harsh colors, tainting the night sky with their glow? Why to they snap mental bracelets on my wrists? Why are they keeping my hands from moving? Why do they grab me roughly and shove me in the back of their car? Why are they so rough? Why do they stuff me in a cell? Why do these bars contain me? Why do they give me such small amounts of food? Why, do they expect me to live here? What are they saying? Why are their words mere gibberish? Why can't I understand them? Why can't I know why they put me here? What did I do wrong? Why, do they think I killed that man? Why? Oh, and yours was good, MF!

Why is this Green Mist enveloping me? Why do I suddenly feel the urge to write a story completely made up of questions? May I have a pen to immortalize this inspiration? Or must I scratch it into the dust of the ground with my finger? If I do, will it last more than a moment? Or will the wind, or the feet of another traveler wipe out its memory? Will anything I compose today be remembered tomorrow? |

Nice challenge, Misty! And my little story there actually had some depth once I began to write it  I thought I would just ramble randomly, but with a little editing it actually became substantive. I should write more poems/very short stories.

Every sentence was a question; there just wasn't a question mark at the end, but it reads as a question I think. I love all these, they're all great. Nice challenge, Misty! Keep 'em coming, guys! |
