There wasn't a forum for this before, but as Jay kindly made the general development forum for someone who's user name I can't spell (iarbonseye or something).

I think my new username should be easier to remember (since everyone seemed to have trouble with my old one).

Basic ancient theology
When Jesus went into heaven after the resurrection, God cast all the people who mistreated Jesus into one horrible world, to give them a second chance and punish them all at the same time. The world is full of immediate punishment for sin and all the animals eat humans. God also turns 10 people into the five different races (other than human) Elf, Silver Skin, Fairy, and H'whodondian.

State of the 'modern' world
3 generations later, an evil King now rules -- a King who killed his father for the throne and cast out all the non-Human races and tried to kill them all. The ones that got away moved into an oasis in the middle of the four vast deserts and to the King's aggravation cannot be found....
Basic plot
A girl named Ana (age 17) who is a Musicthiss (see description in Creatures) and is Half Elf Half Human leaves the safety of the oasis Tonjara when her father is killed in battle. She has set out to spy on the King and hopefully avenge her father's death by killing the King's lead assassin. Only problem is when she meets the murderer of her father she falls for him and him for her. When she finds out that he also is a spy of the King they get close -- maybe a little too close, maybe close enough to blow their cover? Who knows, only I, (evil laugh)

Great idea for a thread, I've been wondering about where to post for my story idea now that I have my world past infancy.

Creation to the Fall
In short, a different world, but same scenario leading to the fall by the first man and woman, which led both to being kicked out of God's Valley. They were told not to leave the valley, but a monkey led them out to see their reflection in a pond just outside the valley.

God's Provision
God told the first man, Goshen, to take the seed from a red wood and hold it under water for seven seconds in the pond where they first sinned. Goshen obeyed, and out of his hand came a white staff with a blue mirror. God then promised a child who would have the authority to wield the staff. When that son was born, they were to look into it with repentant hearts believing in God's promise to forgive them. Unfortunately, their first son, Elkuund, held the staff with pride and was exiled. The next son fulfilled his task with a righteous heart through faith in God. The first son accepted a deal with Satan and was given a black staff to create followers loyal despite their inherent evil nature.

Recent history
Here is where I am undecided. If I go the route of a Messiah:
The city of Goshen had not had a white mirest in 400 years. A leader rose up proclaiming the prophecies of a Messiah to lead them to their world kingdom and victory over the dark mirest were not meant to refer to a single person, but the whole nation. In the midst of his rise to power, a woman gives birth to a miracle baby, who some say fit the prophecies of the Messiah. This man grew up with a group of protectors and then made a splash before giving his life for his people - promising that through his death they would all have victory. Before he died, he told people he would rise again. When his followers came to his grave, he was gone. An angel told them to visit an island to the east to find him.

Story Arc/Premise
A witness to the Final Mirest's resurrected body has made it to Kuunadahl. He has been imprisoned until the Dark Mirest returns to question him. A Keeper who fled a battle and started a family in Kuunadahl, his daughter, and this witness will go through an adventure to get back to the island refuge only to find it deserted. The trials they face on the way is why by the time they arrive, it has been deserted. This might be the end of the first book.

Character Arcs
Zedrian - the former Keeper - Must come to a place of repentance where he can believe he is forgiven for leaving God's service and become part of God's new order of protectors.

Amelle - daughter of Zedrian - Must learn to trust God to protect them in the deepest of enemy territory in order to make it out alive and strong enough to serve the new order.

That's all for now, still pretty bare. Also, should we have our own threads for premises so that they can be more focused on each premise? We can list them here, and then have their own thread for people to comment on.

I'm with Timotheus on the separate threads for separate premises idea. Otherwise this thread could get very convoluted very quickly.
