| I just downloaded New Novelist 3, and have the backup disk being delivered in the mail. I must say, although I've not done much with it just yet, I am quite pleased with it so far. Features include a separate section for resources (people, places, objects, and ideas) with multiple sections for describing each and every thing, place, or person you submit and the chapters they appear. There are guidelines that help you in whatever kind of novel you're writing, but you don't have to follow, among other things. And I thought the read back feature (you have to have windows 7 for this feature) was pretty cool, although it sounds like a female Steven Hawkings and there are sometimes odd spaces or emphasis on words. Being able to change the colors of your templates was kind of nice too. Makes it less boring and pleasing to the eyes. All in all, I think it's going to be a good program. Anyone else using this writing software? What do you think of it? | |

| I have actually never heard of this, but it sounds interesting. What is the price range? The program that I use sometimes, yWriter, has a read back option as well, but it's just Microsoft Sam's voice. | |

| It's 49.99 for the download, and with the backup disk it is 59.98. I ordered the backup disk as well. I have to work tonight and can't wait to get back home to play around with it some more lol I've got quite a bit of work to do in transferring all of my chapters and notes and such already written into it. Here's the link for anyone wanting to take a look http://www.newnovelist.com/index.html | |
