The tiains (pronounced tie-ains) are the fire people. They are not to be confused with demons in any way

The tiains’ eyes are usually red, orange or yellow. They are small, and slightly pointy. The pupils are unusually small, and the irises are unusually large. Their noses are short, rounded and slightly turned up, while their mouths are short and thin. The tiains’ faces are small, softly blended and pixie-like. Their small ears poke out a little bit and are slightly pointed. The females’ hair falls to the mid-back, while the males’ is slightly long, but not inappropriately so. Their wavy hair is red, brown or black. The tiains’ bodies are on the short side and slightly stout. They have rosy complexions

The female tiains’ clothing is made out of wispy red, orange or yellow fabric. It is comprised of a loose fitting dress, loosely belted at the waist. The males’ clothing is also red, orange or yellow, but is a somewhat heavier fabric. It is comprised of a tunic and pants.

The tiains’ speech is swift, and disjointed. They change subjects quickly, and prefer short words and sentences. Their movements are swift and slightly jerky.

Tiains are obsessive, and easily fly into a temper. They are passionate, but they can be unfeeling at times. They are very impatient.

Tiains like warm and dry, red, yellow and orange. They have a weakness for triangle shaped objects and dead wood. They dislike cold and dampness and round objects. They also don’t like blue, green and purple objects.

Oxygen, darkness, rubies, and dead wood are beneficial for their health. However, too much air, light, water, earth and amethysts can be damaging and/or lethal.

Taians can be subdivided into four sub-races: forest fire, prairie fire, campfire and hearth fire. I won’t get into them now, but if you’re interested…maybe in the future!

The things I have outlined here are what is usually the case. It is possible for tiains to differ from this description. Those who do are either shunned or adored, depending on the case. If you have any questions about why I made them a certain way, ask away! It will help me to solidify them

Very interesting! :D If too much air is harmful to them, where do they live? Do they have to breath pure oxygen? Would they lean towards evil?

They would live in fire. So if you have a campfire going, there would be a taian in it. I'm not exactly sure where they would be in between fires, though. They are not evil.
