This is more of a sci-fi creature than fantasy. It looks like a manta ray only about five times larger, I know, huge. They bury themselves in sand (they live on the deserts of Mars) and feelers grab and sift through the sand to get any nutrients they need and then suck them into their pores. It only uses this method if it can't find life to hunt. (In order for you to understand why there is life on Mars you need a little back-story. Humans populated Mars and gave certain creatures areas to populate their kind. The animals bred and created new creatures and the Druik is one of them.) Oh, it can glide once it jumps off cliffs, etc. |

I know this is fantasy, but I still would like to know how humans managed to survive on Mars. And even if the humans themselves don't live there, are the animals that they brought there somehow bred to survive such conditions? |

At first they created air bubbles. (Have you seen Total Recall? If you have then you know what I am talking about.) Then they dug underground and siphoned all of the non-breathable gasses out and filled it with earth-air. Thanks for being interested! Yes, the animals were bred for that area. |

Yes, that is definitely interesting... I think it's a pretty cool idea. No, I haven't seen Total Recall, but I think I understand what you're talking about. |

Wouldn't that take a loooong time? And where do they put the Martian air? Why did the humans go to Mars in the first place? They sound cool. Are they carnivorous? |
