What they are: Draug Elves are part elf and part wolf. They are fierce warriors but have weak eyesight at night. One of their major weaknesses is that they are not able to see behind them. They are one of the fastest running creatures.

What do they look like: Draug elves are about the size of a grown sunflower, which is 8 to 12 feet. They are very hairy especially around the neck. They acquire the excellent sense of smell and hearing from the wolf genes they have in them and they acquire the speed of the elves. They are normally dressed in a full suit of silver armor and are never without their sword.

Where do they live: Draug Elves prefer to build forts to live in but if they are in danger they can live in the forest in hiding.

They sound interesting. Are their heads shaped like wolves or elves? And are they more sentient or bestial? I would be kinda creepy if they had fits where they went mad for a while. :)

Sounds interesting! Do they act more like elves or wolves? And where did they come from?

They were created at the creation of the Land of Nor which I have not created a full history of yet.

They have the face of an elf but they got the pointy ears and nose of a wolf. They also get the hair of a wolf, so they are pretty hairy.

They don't do mad fits, they make their own choices in their life like a human.

They are starting out as bad guys but eventually a few of them will join the good guys. I am starting my story out as a man vs man type of story but it will turn into a good vs bad.

Fellow,

Sounds neat. If they have the ears and nose of a wolf, and are hairy all over as you say, then what difference is there between a Draug Elf and, say, a Werewolf? Where do the elf genes come in?

Not to beat you up or anything, but isn't it a dangerous combination to be both poor-sighted and a fast runner?

Palavini

Interesting creatures! I'm curious, how was the merging of wolves and elves achieved? Do you have other elves in this world that look down on these as inferior, or are they respected, even feared, for their prowess? Or do Draug Elves shun the rest of society altogether? Inquiring minds want to know. :) But you have some good potential for conflict here.
