| Grrrr....my own indecisiveness strikes again! Ok, now that that's over with, I have a problem. Three months after he has obtained a throne he has gotten married. A very powerful and dangerous magical object called the Meraryl was broken into shards and the majority of these shards have been carried away. The main character, Tor, wants all the shards back so he can protect them, knowing their power and fearing should they fall into the wrong hands. The difficulty comes in the fact that he just promised his new wife that he will find satisfaction and contentment in her and in the calm, just rule of his kingdom. But, he knows that the shards could destroy everything he holds dear, so he must go after them. He resists this knowledge, for the time being, can't make the decision. His wife, however, has a little secret that plays into an important part of the plot, but I don't know whether to incorporate that part in all at once before Tor goes on his quest or while he's on his quest. I guess I'm asking whether the wife's secret should be found out, by Tor, before the quest or after. | |

| Definitely after. That would keep the reader's excitement going. | |
