					| I may change the name later... I just made up these creatures, so I'm still working on developing them.
They live in the wilderness surrounding the lake (the more I talk about Lekaira, the more I realize how many things I still have left to name >_< Like the place where these things live...). They're about the size of the elephants of our world, except not as round and their legs are about a foot shorter. They have long, slender necks and large wings. Each wing is slightly larger than half of their body, and is hard and scaly at the base. They do not have scales on the rest of their body, but instead have tough, smooth skin. Their claws are about 5 inches long. They are always black, and I haven't decided about the markings yet.

I started typing this an hour ago and got interrupted, so I lost my train of thought... questions are welcomed. I need to work on these creatures quite a bit.

					| Hmm...
I'll answer the second question first because I haven't given the other much thought.
They are slightly smarter than most other animals, but still nowhere near humans. They can't talk or reason like humans can.

And they aren't really evil, but they aren't good either. They are fairly isolated because of where they live, so they don't trust humans. Even though they are fairly smart, it would still take them a while to understand humans wouldn't hurt them, and that's only if humans were ever actually around and if they were kind.
They don't go and look for things to kill, but they aren't the kindest creatures when they encounter something or someone new.

I'm kind of thinking about having dragons that live in another part of the world that are more like "normal" (I guess you would say) fantasy dragons.

					| They sound pretty neat.Do they have two or four legs and what about their tails? You said they are a little like elephants so I keep imagining them with little elephant tails, but I know that can't be right.
Could you tame them and be able to ride them?

					| Maybe I should have said they are about as tall as an elephant and weigh close to the same.
They have four legs and regular "dragon-like" tails that are about as long as their bodies.

They can be "tamed" in the sense that they will get along with humans, but they can't be ridden because of the way they act. They wouldn't allow a human on their back unless they just really liked that person and that person was in trouble, and they wouldn't listen to the person anyway. If someone were to ride them, they would have to go wherever the dragyn wanted to go.

					| I don't know... I just felt like it, I guess. There wasn't any particular reason I spelled it differently.

					| I'm not sure if there will be or not. I just made these up because I felt like making up some sort of animal. If I get to writing a story and decide I want dragons, I'll probably add them.

					| Go for it. I don't mind if others use the name. I didn't really make anything up myself anyway, other than changing a letter in the normal spelling of "dragon".

					| Very true. Nevertheless, feel free to use the name if you want.
