Hi everyone,
I'm rewriting my novel and one of the things I'm changing is the romance. I'm still up in the air about the romance, so I have decided to go through the Bible and study love. This thread will basically collect everything I study since I'll probably do this in short bursts as I have time :) I'm going to be looking at what true love is and how it is applied in relationships.

I decided to make a thread out of this because I figured there are probably a lot of other people with similar questions as me. :)

I went and Googled Bible and Love.


I will never fail you or forsake you.

Follow the way of love.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Love doesn't boast about itself. Love doesn't hoard vast sums of wealth.
Love does not lie, or grudge past wrongs. Love is patient. Love is strong.
Love does not envy. Love is not proud. Love is trusting, hoping; not self loud.
Love is giving to the last. Love is letting anger be the past.
Love is is faithful. Love is pure. Love is joyful, of this I'm sure.
Love is a gift from God up above. Use your gift, show His love.

I will be looking through verses in the Bible (using my search tool in the Bible software) but I'll start with these. Thank you :)

Oy....old thread :D Yes, I have been thinking about it :) My ponderings on biblical beauty (and what is beautiful) have sort of collided with this and the 'you are what you read' post about choosing Godly things. Still, I'm planning a blog post over this at some point - perhaps over Spring Break when I have more time :)

Oy. I'm so ashamed at how much poking this thread needs. It's not that I've not been percolating the subject, and there have been some blog posts of mine that touch on these subjects, which have now expanded to include Chivalry, Marriage, Beauty, Love, and Passion. *chuckles* They're all mixed up in the pot that is my head and ideally I'd love to percolate some blog posts about them.

Please do keep poking me if you don't see posts on my blog that don't pertain to these ;)
