| Hérion is probably the closest thing to the Holy Spirit in my novel. I have a couple problems though. 1. He is not a spirit. 2. He is omnipresent, but not omniscient. 3. Like said in this week's podcast, it is good to have certain characters represent certain traits of God, but I don't have any others representing the 'missing' traits. 4. He is perfect and sinless, but he is a member of a sinful race. Any problems with the above? | |

| Maybe. First thought - if he is a sinless member of a sinful race, how did he become sinless? If he's otherwise a normal member of that race and he achieved perfection by his own will, that might cause you theological problems. No man is perfect, except Christ, who was both God and man at the same time. Does Hérion have some kind of divine intervention in his history? | |

| I'm fixing the problem by making him NOT omniscient and NOT perfect. He's just a regular elf now. I was going to try and make it a bit more allegorical, but I figured it was becoming blatant. | |
